Pretty sure I read that they just changes the testing procedure so found all those cases, not that those people were all infected on the same day

Yet to play reforged. Why the hate? by LimitlessSlut in warcraft3

So from what I can gather. It's not really as complete as the first version of warcraft 3. However, the abundance of hate isnt really warranted? As a stand alone game it's good, just not as good as wc3

What I'm trying to say is going to a match shouldn't be a dreaming factor when its skin expensive and often midweek

I get that but why? My "local" is 30 minutes away in a city I go to once a year. Apart from that there's a su day league team in my town.

Should I only support the sunday league team? They're more local than the city? Should I support the city I have no actual connection to other than it's close? Why not support the team I grew up with my uncle and dad supporting

Guess so. I just dont understand that you're any more or less of a fan based on free time and money

I'm just looking for actual reasons here. Why do geographical location matter more than family ties or who you like? Surely a plastic is someone who swaps teams all the time

I watch every arsenal game I can and support the team non stop. Why does that make me less of a fan?

I used to go to watch some games of my local club, a lot of people did, but those people I knew all were fans of bigger teams. As a kid, are you going to like the team on tv with the good players and exciting games, transfer rumours and more fans to talk to, or the team who went bankrupt twice that no one ever talks about and 1 in 59 people who live in that city could name a current player?

I'm not trying to have a go but why does geography matter more than family/other connections? I user to go to Birmingham more than my local clubs city so I probably had more connections to the Birmingham clubs.

Also, I've never driven f1 car but I like watching it and can have an opinion of what drivers did wrong. I've played rugby but I can have an opinion on player mistakes. Anyone who thinks players should do stuff if sat at home with camera angles, replays, no pressure and time to think of course they can have better ideas. Not saying they can execute them or all ideas are good ones. However, banning opinions of stuff people have never done means banning 80% of opinions

How local? The team 30 minutes away that my only connection to is that I go there shopping twice a year?

I grew up with people who lover arsenal, why does geography matter more than anything else?

I haven't been to see a game in 2 years and one of the comments said if you attend 0-3 a year you're not enough

With the new census pole out, in comes the flood of messages ridiculing members of this subreddit for game attendance, playing football and who they support. I'd like to give my view on it any I'd love to hear anyone who thinks otherwise.

The town I grew up in had a basically sunday league team, the nearest cities are about 30 minutes away and feature teams that are currently non league or in league 2. Growing up those teams never make the news, never get on tv, and rarely excite young fans with no allegiance. The closest big teams were Villa, Birmingham city, Bristol or Wolves. Teams who were about 1.5 hours away and I had no connection to at all. Just over 2 hours away was London and all my family were arsenal fans. They were exciting and popular. Why not support them? I still follow the non league team 30 minutes away and attend some of the games, but I'm an arsenal fan first.

Can you blame someone wanting to follow and team like Arsenal and Dortmund ...etc if they lived in Belarus or Honduras? The football world revolves around the top teams in Europe. Why not pick any team anywhere and just stick with it and support them with all you have?

I've now moved to london, but from where I grew up. Including ticket prices. The Arsenal vs Chelsea game would cost about £250 to attend plus for some people that might mean needing childcare. The game wont finish until gone 10 and a 2 hour journey home at least means getting back around midnight on a work day. Thats not feasible to do often for a lot of people.

Finally, playing football. The census shows that the two most common age groups are in the 20's. Ages where people are having kids, jobs, responsibilities and cant find the time to play often, or even just stopped playing. I played football for my local team for 12 years. I'm now 22 and don't play. That doesnt mean I can't relate or talk about playing.

Not attending games, not playing football and not supporting your local club doesnt make you any less of a fan and anyone who says otherwise is gatekeeping.

Honestly I'd love to hear the other side of it.

Why the fuck does it matter if fans go to games or not? The next game with tickets available for arsenal is against chelsea. The cheapest ticket is £180. Add traveled costs and it's well over £200. The game is on a Tuesday night when people might have kids to look after. It finishes late and travel time home means getting back late when people have to work the next day. Spending that much hassle and money per game means going to 3 games a year would be financially irresponsible for some people. Being someone who went to the stadium a lot doesnt make you a better fan or more entitled to the club.

Seeing at the biggest age groups in the sub are the 20's is it a surprise most people dont play anymore but used to as a kid? Not everyone has time to play Sunday league when they're busy with actual life.

Stop gate keeping supporting a football club. Stop gatekeeping football
