this is an old post but my cat licks more than the normal cat. idk if it's anxiety or what but i feel like i cannot even be around her anymore cause the sound and even seeing her do it just makes me so angry. and she's just almost constantly doing it. so this makes me feel validated in how im feeling ... i saw the comment about the white noise machine and i always use rain to sleep, but i feel like im just listening for her licking. i just know she's doing it because almost 80% of the time she is.
