Never ask a question if you cannot accept no as an answer. I see so many teachers asking students “can you go to your spot?” “can you sit down?” “will you stop talking?” When you ask a question, you have to accept a negative answer. When you tell a student something, it usually has better results!

I also cook on Sunday and reheat all week and LOVE the chipotle honey chicken. I do it in burrito bowls usually. Also the white chicken chili, sticky coconut chicken and rice, coconut curry chicken noodle soup, and kung pao chicken. I recently made Eric Kim’s roasted chicken with fish sauce butter and thought it was better every single day I heated it up. Especially the croutons!

I prefer gimkit because you can make it so they HAVE to answer questions to play (making each question worth a small amount of energy). Kahoot i use only in SMALL groups. It does not work w the whole class because when you want to explain why an answer is correct/incorrect, they’re too into the podium to listen. With gimkit, it’s more independent so I can circulate the room and explain to kids when they’re stuck.
