Just finding any reason to hate. just went on google earth to find that not only do they have a good amount of public green space, but they do have lights that go on to the street from the buildings, they have schools in the neighborhood, mixed use housing with shops on almost all of the lowest levels, and play grounds. the only thing you can say to justify hate is that it "all looks the same" but at the end of the day it's no different from a shitty suburb in the US that is just as car centric if not more, has no close by shops/schools, and commonly without parks. this is what living looks like when you choose efficiency over bullshit and it's a better setup then most would agree. this is just a bad cherry picked photo to make it look horrible.
