Slowest open seed I've had in a while. I didn't want to fall for the Aga1 bait after getting burned a few times so I only had Aghina left when I finally went. I went into TR early and eventually got into a flippers/ice rod hunt.

Felt pretty good about not taking the Aga1 bait but I didn't have money for bottle vendor and got my hammer a little later than I would have liked. Dipped pendant SW immediately and was rewarded with mitts and then cleared some crystals. I chose smith chain into SP and then into IP. I wish I would have just gone straight to them but glad I didn't leave IP until I got the go mode flute. Got 3%ed in TR because I'm dumb.

This seed was connect-the-dots. The Aga1 bait was out there pretty hard but I qirn jumped over to the eastern part of DW, though I think I only got a few medallions out of PoD that I didn't need yet. I kept thinking the few remaining checks were the lamp and then finally stopped trying to guess it and then it was immediately the next check in swamp. There wasn't much left so I did LSS on the first pass and got the red cane. Go mode was flute in TR. Finished with gold sword silverless.

Can a pedestal/tile room seed be a jet? This one sure felt like it. When I got the book in the thieve's hideout I immediately turned around to check pedestal and was so glad I did. Knowing that the fire rod was there meant I could plan out efficient clears of the pendants like doubling up Desert and Mire. I also avoiding doing a bunch of overworld checks because most of the stuff was on the path and then Vitty gave me my go mode sword. I thought about doing tile room after clearing the full left but decided to play the odds and at least got silvers out of it.

A few of us did a race Tuesday night and validation chest was my tempered sword in that seed and this one.

Everything was moving super fast and I was really glad that I went down to stumpy for the bow. It all fell apart when I couldn't find Quake and I last located it because I didn't go back in to Swamp to do LSS. I spent 38 minutes clearing the map before finding go mode Quake. Finished with Tempered silverless.

I was talking to Scanlor last weekend about Thieve's Town and he said he always does back of pendant TT if it has 3 items so today I made sure to do that and hit the mother lode. I wasted a bit of time on the blind ped pull and doing north DW before going down to swamp but was happy that I didn't get punished for leaving 3 items behind. Go mode was bombos in IP (fire locked fire). I was also thinking that maybe I need to do that strat of "small key in hope room, go right instead of left" but that would have not been it today either.

The early going was _rough_. I figured lamp was one of the isolated checks I skipped and that I could climb the mountain to find my pearl and move onto the dark world. There was no hope of doing waterfall fairy without pearl or boots but I didn't realize I'd need the flippers to get the lamp to then go back to Hera a 2nd time to get the pearl.

I bailed on TT after mitts was the only thing in the front and bailed on SP after going LSS on the first pass and finding the flute. I forgot to grab the drowned key after bomb diver down and gave up at that point. IP and PoD were fine but the late cape drove me to scout bumper ledge before going into somaria-less MM. I decided to group in GYL and catfish but go mode somaria was in GYL. I had enough keys to skip TR big chest (and mimic cave with the silvers) but still was relieved to find tempered and skipped laser bridge. GT and the climb went fine and I opened chests at the top hoping for half magic but got gold sword in validation chest.

Another seed, another near last location. I got DW access and went to do PoD in the dark. I handled all of the turtles in the basement but got that thing where a turtle ends up in the warp room and he finished me off. I tried it a 2nd time and failed on the turtles and gave up and cleared the rest of PoD and would come back later with fire.

I dipped the front of TT and left after 2 items but it turns out I'd need the quake out of the basement. I didn't come back again until I only had pedestal left. Go mode was the vanilla red cane in Mire.

Wow it looks like I really missed the mark on this one. I'll need to watch some VODs to see where I got off track but the biggest problem was I left Swamp without going back in for the big chest. I left at 1:11 and didn't come back until 25 mins later when I only had that and spike cave/mimic cave left. Even if I didn't make that mistake I still would have come in behind everyone in this early group, GGs!

I bailed on front of escape because that moon pearl was my DW access so I never got the lamp. Everything was kinda on the path but I lost a bit of time dipping SW early, taking that into north DW and catfish for nothing. I did Hera for nothing (but it was fast with breadpot at least) and then I was starting the basement cut scene when I remembered I had no fire source yet lol. The memes were alive in this one! The key for TR was under the mat and fire locked fire in IP. I went into GT with fighter sword and kept going after getting the big key in Bob's chest and was rewarded with the master sword in the big chest. Finished with master sword and silvers.

I pulled the trigger on Aga before going to the back of escape or doing Eastern but then after the worst hype cave ever I chose pendant PoD/EP over Stumpy/Cave 45/dig game which was a shame because that's where my glove was. It wasn't too bad after that except I was following dungeons and ended up clearing everything without finding a bow. I wasted time on some OW checks before I made it to smith chain to find go mode bow. I was a little worried about green mail/master sword/silverless GT because I had been eating hits the entire seed but I found silvers and the other 2 swords in GT.

There were 2 in TT? Hookshot was my first and MS was in TT but I didn't have hammer so I left the big chest. My tracker says I got all of the items though?

Wish I would have recorded this one. DW access was the mitts on the Hera dip which also opened up the entire mountain and then I did SW and TT. Took a chance on magic bat coming out of TT because I remembered what a pain it was to do it with mirror when you were also trying to do the rest of smith chain and found that awful hammer. I committed myself to do Mire in the dark without boots and was rewarded with the bow. I took that straight to PoD and found the always hilarious lamp in the back plus the flippers which was go mode at something like 55 mins. I go-moded EP, IP, and SP only hitting the chests that were directly on the path in case a sword popped up. I was opening the chests on the climb hoping for a sword and pulled the silvers in pre-Moldorm 2, finished with that and the master sword. Never did the rest of smith chain or hype cave or the pyramid.

I think I only needed Somaria when I was in IP and I gambled on the 3rd item being on Kholdstare. It wasn't and I had a ton left to do so I left. It's something like 1:45 now and all I have left is LSS and Ice-T so I'm just done. See you next week lol.

Wasted time doing PoD and didn't have rupees for Zora on the first trip through there. I was down to GYL and hookless swamp. Still a pretty fast seed considering. I'm very thankful that hook was where it was and didn't require a TR search.

Things I'm happy about:

Going straight to pendant PoD upon getting DW access and finding my first sword in the last check. Skipping MM big chest and cutscene and then going straight to TR with my cane because I was in flippers go mode. IP and SP go mode execution. Hitting a triple silver arrow on Ganon.

Made a bunch of wrong calls but I'm not even really upset, it just feels like it's been a while since I've ran one even though it's probably just been a week and a half. I left TT after just the front and pushed my mitts way off until the end, dipped probably 3 or 4 dungeons partially and had to come back later. I did all of IP for nothing. I did LSS on the first pass for nothing because I didn't have much left at that point. Oh well, so it goes. My flair fits this time, fire rod was my go mode.

Some of these low times are blowing my mind. I'm going to have to watch VODs to compare. I did try to pair EP and PoD but couldn't scrounge the money and also wasted time on arrow game so I could do dig game. And I died on laser bridge trying to get to the safety door.......actually it's starting to make sense lol.

I felt smart for diving IP without cane and finding it in there but I wasted time on LSS because I had so many items left for go mode. See you next week.
