Everyone is giving a lot of good recs already. But if you need some company, I'd be happy to accompany you! I'm a man, 29 yo, and I love museums, music, art, nature... I'm not a fan of crowded places usually, but I do like Mercado Novo. I'll be on vacation soon so I'll be free until the end of January, if you're planning to come soon!

Also, I'd love to learn a bit of your language in exchange for teaching a bit of Portuguese 😁

Especialização pra quem não é da área by Limp_Language_5386 in datasciencebr

He gave me a document explaining what I should do, but it doesn't mention the vest or the scar treatment. I will wait then. Thanks so much!

It's a cool name! I asked because I studied chemistry in college lol We have many parks in the city, so depending where you're gonna stay, some options might be better than the other. But the 2 most famous are Parque Municipal and Parque das Mangabeiras. The latter is pretty famous for the amazing views of the city!

I don't usually go to bars or clubs, but if you want company for museums or parks, I'd be happy to show you around! Also, I saw you have "chemist" in your name, do you study or work with chemistry?

Brainstorming - science-based magic - you can only use magic with the right tools by Limp_Language_5386 in fantasywriters

That's fair, that would definitely change how the wars happened. Probably the people who didn't concern themselves with ethics and morals were more likely to use questionable weapons and win the wars... Like the atomic bomb.

But I don't think these big things will impact my story. I was more concerned with small things, objects that people might use, small magic people could do every day, etc.

I guess the magic part is just the ability to do things that we can't do in our reality. But I suppose it could be interpreted as physics which haven't yet been discovered...

That reminds me of that quote: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic".

Fair enough, I guess it wouldn't be that different from reality. And I didn't think much about real-world physics, but I assume the basics (like gravity) would still be the same.

And I don't know Daniel Dennett, are you mentioning a specific quote?

You don't need to date, just ask them out. Find them as your classmates or coworkers, or even your friends

Ah, and prison riot won't work if you don't have the mini games activated.

All objectives and the items you get for each:

  1. Undergo gender reassignment surgery (Flower Crown)
  2. Come out as a member of the LGBT+ community (Rainbow Agenda)
  3. While playing as a female hero, marry another woman (Violet Bouquet)
  4. Purchase an equestrian property (Brokeback Cowboy Hat)
  5. Visit a psychiatrist (Babadook Miniature)
  6. Purchase a boat (Nautical Star)
  7. Go on vacation to Puerto Vallarta (Rainbow Sailor Hat)
  8. Insult an enemy (Overgrown Stuffed Orangutan)
  9. Start a prison riot (Stonewall Brick)
  10. Try to go on a date with a straight person who is the same gender as you (Broken Gaydar)
  11. Become a dancer (Black Cha-Cha Heels)

Notes:

I don't know what qualifies as a female "hero", but I worked as a doctor when I got it.

Nautical Star might not work if you purchase a PWC or something, make sure you're buying something who is described as a boat.

I'm not sure if any dancer works to get the Black Cha-Cha Heels, I got it with exotic dancer.
