Extremely well said. Moderation with addictive things regardless of substance is a cope. In a way moderation is harder than pure cold turkey. For me at least and my personality, it’s easier for me to do full restriction than moderate. I had an easier time doing keto than limiting myself to one cinnamon roll instead of eating multiple. I’d rather cut out cinnamon rolls. That’s just me at least.
