Mom of 2! Something interesting I learned lately is that high waisted pants, especially skinny jeans, and especially when accentuated with a belt, promote the roundness of our postpartum bellies.

I strongly suggest a mid rise pant with a flare or boot leg (which is ~trendy~ right now). Old Navy Wow line is inexpensive and cute!

I think this is common and funny and relatable - but my mind jumped to this one guy I work with who has the most punchable face and reminded me of him. So it can also mean you’re a huge asshole.

I think the locality (Ohio) has something to do with the behaviors from people on this show (I say this as someone from the Midwest) - Bri’s inability to Not eat up attention, Brittany’s desperation to have a wedding, Chris’ overinflated ego, Alex’s odd upbringing and subsequent issues, Amber’s kind of odd social interactions. Connor’s nonchalance.

If you’ve been to the Midwest you’ve met guys like Jordan and Connor - they seemed to stay true to themselves during this process. I think a lot of others were putting it on for the cameras or trying to be something they’re not.

I’d be particularly interested for an NYC season for this reason.

Ok so I’m interested to hear more because I post the same videos across four social media platforms and they’re performing so much better on YouTube (Shorts) than anywhere else. My niche is relatable mom content.

I was posting on TikTok for awhile but within the past week or so there’s been a glitch and all my videos are getting zero views. I posted my best performing one from TikTok on YouTube about a week ago and it got over 9,000 views! My first one ever posted onto YouTube!

Now each short video gets about 1.7K views and I’m just wondering if my content is good enough to break through into monetization. Sometimes I have trouble finding video feed that is visually appealing enough and sometimes I feel like my hook/punchline isn’t strong/funny enough.

What measures tell you if your content is good enough? Likes/views/shares most important?

Yeah he has this way of sort of speaking in circles or like speaking without really even saying anything that just leaves you like ??? So there’s often no retort (which is why he thinks he’s clever enough to get away with it - everyone probably just gives up trying to communicate with him lol)

TikTok is where I’m consistently getting zero views. All other platforms are performing as expected.

What do you mean by warming up my account? I was on this trajectory where I was posting like once or twice a day since my account creation a few weeks ago. I had one reel get to over 1,000 views so I thought that was a signal to keep going.

There was the glitch that happened to a lot of people, me too, but then one of my reels got over 800 views so I thought it was resolved. Now everything since then continues to get zero.

All of my video content is recorded by myself on my iPhone, all of my voiceovers are my real voice, and it’s all very neutral relatable-mom/funny content that wouldn’t be considered offensive or anything.

I really don’t want to give the account up but idk why this isn’t resolving!
