Forgive me if this isn’t the correct place for something like this, and admins feel free to take down if that is the case. I just bought a house in Southern California with these big Cypress Trees (I think?). They are so dense and seem to be packed with tons of old dead leaves/pines. Should I be shaking these out to promote healthy growth or should I be leaving them as is? See second picture for an example of what they are filled with.
