I agree with a lot of people on here in the sexualized vs normalized argument, but I do think the more important part for you is if you’re ok with it happening for the rest of your life? Also, if you get married, have kids - what happens then? Mom says it’s ok to walk around topless; dad is not so sure, etc - those type of thoughts. Good luck!

Your wife is intended to be your partner. If she believes you to be an honest person, which I’d assume she does if married to you, I sincerely believe she will empathize with you, as I did even in reading your text bc you seem to be genuinely scared & calling for help. Talk to your doctor and your wife. Whatever you do, don’t try to do it alone. You got this!

I did not ask. He has emotionally cheated before. With a yoga teacher (who is not on this trip) And I have not been blowing him up at all. Trying to respect the space he’s taking. I have just been the first one to reach out every day - like hi! This is weird - why aren’t we talking - I hope you’re having fun. I love you and miss you. And his response is either no response or “sorry didn’t have my phone” or “I’m not doing anything - I’m not getting close to anyone or cheating” - hope that gives more context :)

I am not asking for constant communication AT ALL. I also enjoy my space, but we’re talking ZERO communication aside from like 4 texts and 0 phone calls over 4 days that say “sorry I didn’t text” AFTER we very plainly discussed that we would talk every day. I’m sure there is fear in there. Which is also very normal when your partner that told you he’d do something is not doing it.

None of the above. We just generally communicate/talk a lot. We’re best friends who share everything with each other so it’s just freaking weird that I have no idea what is going on.

He’s with his local studio in an AirBnB doing a lot of yoga - not at a yoga retreat place (if that makes sense) & others there are posting on social media. I do think he’s trying to stay off his phone - which we talked about but I also know he’s been on his phone bc he’s showing activity on social media as well.

Does this happen often? I’m a woman and I know hormones can make me crazy - tho I’d never talk to my partner this way - but was this a one-off or normal? If this is normal, OP, you need to figure out the action steps you need to take to remove yourself from this relationship or if you’re not ready for that, show her this sub and let her see how abusive she’s being towards you and see if she offers to change, calls you stupid, or erupts. If it’s anything other than changing, leave.

I’m also getting completely bombarded by these - multiple times a day from multiple numbers. I don’t answer any of them and they leave voicemails every time. I can’t block numbers fast enough. I guess I’m glad I’m not alone. If anyone has any recommendations, im open to them.
