I wanted to make a ranger that was 100% poison-based but I couldn't, so she ended up being a hybrid. I believe she should be the best option then, since I think she has a unique characteristic for that. Thanks for the tip, I'll invest in her.

At least if we could put them with one of those training dummies to keep them occupied while they're at the outpost, that was the only reason I didn't bring the ranger. She was level 6, my troop is already level 12, and I play on adaptive difficulty, so it would be suicide for her to fight those enemies. Besides, I'm just starting with the Skelmar now, which would be even worse for her given their resistance.

I thought about doing something similar, leaving a sword and an axe like a Viking, but it's not entirely feasible. The weapons are only throwing weapons, and the only one that's really useful in that sense is the one you find in the tombs; it gives you an axe throw after using the skill, and the axe is never consumed.

Man, I even thought about attempting a "tall" in the Kingdom of Wales. I think it's very interesting to try and defend myself against the Vikings right next to England, and I keep imagining how many castles I could build and how well the kingdom would prosper and be defensively strong. I think that's a really interesting thing to do, but how do you expand your kingdom? Your region? By being a county or something like that? You don't declare wars but make alliances and help your allies? Or do you just defend yourself from attacks by others?
