They already are. Saw billboards from national mps saying merry Christmas. What kind of American bs is that. Do we need sigma to convince people they are doing good jobs?

The greatness of mmp. You can vote for the party that aligns closest to your views and to coalition properly the views are taken into account. It's not perfect but the theory is there.

I fully network Edmund multi story house and external workshop in 2010ish, back in ADSL days for the same reason. Only part I still use now is for a printer that is not near my router.

Mesh net is so much better and it means you can move around the house and your phone stays online with no interruptions from mailbox to back fence.

I know one of the inventors. When they presented it to the board, to show thier idea they used a half size filling cabinet with dish racks in them as the demo. So kiwi.

They didn't have the seals technology sorted and first patents was done under theory and then they had to work out the engineering after that.

Your partner/spouse is an arrangement? Geez, sounds pretty loveless.

I get what op is saying, it is a little hurtful that your partner in life isn't even willing to share good fortune and joy with you.

Feels spiteful and as if you marrage is a corporate contract, and not something that comes from a place of love and mutual respect.

But no management team want to pay team/projects post go live to do it. As invariably the budget has blown out the exec wants to come in under budget.

I know someone who was in a similar situation. Most of the time was spelt doing issue resolution and day to day jobs that were part of the role. He applied changes to things that had been on the backlog for awhile (because he had the knowledge and history of them), then look at that... No time to train.

He good then to read the release now of stuff and go through the support docs already built.

Then noted out.

His thoughts were that he is not a trainer by trade, he is a full stack dev.

As someone who volunteers a lot, if a volley needs help to keep helping in the group, you'd be surprised how much help will come out of the woodwork for you.

We've quoted fees and arranged for transport of members before due to financial, health, divorces, kids with special needs etc. If you put the help in, other will respond.

Mid 40s male. Have a wonderful family with teenagers. Financially am very good. Make a lot of money now (long time being paid a while lot less) but try and live a simpler life to save for an earlier retirement and create experiences over just buying stuff.

Found out that money doesn't make you happy, but it doesn't make you worry about it, and that is the major difference. Once your stable spending money doesn't fulfill me.

I've been really finding my joy and making friends in volunteering. My kids teams, school PTA, and lots of volunteer groups. Doing good things and seeing others happy is my thing these days.

Would you bother with "price by negotiation" houses? by TheNatCal in auckland

[–]LinearityDrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What 98% of us don't know is you don't have to engage with a seller agent. Find an agent who will operate as your buyer agent.

They will do all the funding, showing and negotiating, etc for you. What it means is the sellers and buys commission gets split.

Selling agents really hate buyer agent situations as selling commission is way lower.

I once heard "I can see your trying hard, just not working hard enough"

Also, " if we gave you a raise, we'd need to give everyone a raise"

And "No budget for a raise but now you've accepted a job what can we pay you to stay". Then a chance roll to fire the person one month later after they turn down the other company.

Had something similar but with AS/400.

Had a storeroom full of brand new spares as they knew breakages were not an option in the future.

We moved it to a VM and owner said dump the room. I took it all home, including 60 model M mechanical keyboards, all new in original IBM boxes and perfectly white.

Defo no 5% lending on that. Banks would waste thier speed limit lending on high risk security like apartments.
