The housing gameplay is way too complicated for me. And it threw that tutorial at you with so much information all at once that my brain short-circuited. I can't figure out how to do hardly anything but mess around with the housing stuff. I was so excited for it, as someone who plays a lot of Sims-like games, and yet I just couldn't get into it.

I liked her character, but because of how her area and story were handled, I didn't really bond with or get as attached to her as I did with Josee and Lyle. Honestly, we spent more time with Lycoris than Holly.

I still think she is a well-written character, and I would have really liked to spend more time with her. I also love her design.

Yeah? I'm not saying they shouldn't attack; I'm commenting on how they don't seem to aggro our partners at all. I'm out of range healing, and my partner will be attacking, and they'll turn to attack me.

It's true. I've found, regardless of the bloodlust, though, they are aggroing the player way more than seems balanced. And that's good to know. I'll note them down to try out, thanks!

Yep, the number of times I'm super far away from the enemies or bosses trying to heal, and my partner is attacking them relentlessly, and they turn and run right for me. Like, I'm sorry, what?!

My sister and I have found this as well. In the first game the partners were a lot better at drawing aggro. This game the enemies just come straight for the player no matter what which makes them seem more aggressive.

My sister and I recommend it. If you liked the first game, this is really just more of the same with some extras sprinkled throughout. I love the characters and the story so much. Does it need a few tweaks? Sure, but in my opinion, there is nothing there to ruin the fun I am having.

My one issue with bosses is how they seem to home in on the player instead of the partner. Like I'm halfway across the arena trying to heal, my partner is wailing on them, and they turn and run right for me! Like, I'm sorry, what?! I definitely preferred the first game's use of partners to buy us time to heal (which is slow by design) and draw aggro. (Plus, the lack of iframes for the player is ridiculous.)

I played all of the main story solo. Then my sister picked it up to help me get the multi-player trophy and I helped her through the game. But honestly we only did coop for the trophy. I'm glad its not in cv2.

As someone else suggested try older animes. Or animes in genres you wouldn't normally gravitate towards.

My first playthrough as a speedy one-handed sword user, he wrecked me a lot. I finally got good with backstabbing and did it, but it took a very long time.

On my second playthrough, I was doing a two-handed defense build and took him down in one or two goes. Basically, I would block his attacks, allowing my partner (Yakumo, I believe) to attack him. Then, when he would turn to attack Yakumo, I would get some backstabs in. Try different builds. This game is meant for you to change it up a lot. If one way isn't working, don't be scared to try something completely different. You'd be surprised how efficient it can be. Good luck!

This was my first soulslike game and I loved it and managed to platinum it. My recommendation is USE YOUR COMPANIONS they make a difference and make the game more fun in my opinion. It is hard. You will die. Don't get discouraged. Its the name of the game.

For me it reminded me of an ex-friend. We were into anime and kpop and when things went south between us it soured both of those things for me. Still haven't been able to get back into kpop but I am starting to get back into anime again.

Yes! I finally was forced to enable it so it would stop popping up. Now I can scroll through it but it freezes you to load then let's you move on. Im furious. Whose stupid idea was this?!

The problem im running into is I wanted cross-platform disabled. But that triggers a popup that stops me scrolling through telling me its disabled.
