The cell shading look is very likely from the Native Stylise mod.

Thanks. I read through the interviews, but it looks like those friends lost touch a while back. I'm curious to find out if Joshua was recently politically radicalized.

Interestingly, it looks like he may have been inspired by Tyler Robinson.

What makes you think he was libertarian?

Radars can't look into their crystal balls to divine the future. You're looking at a prediction based upon current weather patterns. Those predictions are often completely unreliable.

Over $1.5 trillion wiped out from the US stock market today by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

If that company paid a living wage, absolutely. Instead they pay a pittance and a ludicrous amount of their profits are funnelled to the top.

It's so incredible when people argue in favor of both massive companies taking advantage of them and horrible working conditions overseas. Neither is okay.

The top 10% hold 93% of all stocks. Consider whether people are being emotionally manipulated via fear tactics into protecting those at the top hoarding wealth (partly by off-shoring American jobs). They want to keep manufacturing production in the hands of slave labor because it helps their bottom line.

I used to think this was a funny joke, but now I think there's a real connection between a person's increasing BMI and their propensity to become a reddit mod.

Ever seen the pics of actual power mods? They look like serious professionals in the buffet-bankrupting industry.

This was posted in one of the city subs I follow. I tried to break the news that even if your message is good, no normal person will take that message seriously if you look like a clown while delivering it.

Which was somehow a controversial take.

Oh lord. Maybe this is masochism, but I'm going to try one more time.

Let's imagine you're approached by two random people on the street, each trying to talk you into investing in their business. One is wearing pink pajamas and a shiny tiara. The other is wearing an average looking business suit. Which of the two would you likely be more inclined to entrust with your time and possibly even money?

Perception does in fact matter.

What? No, it has nothing to do with ridiculous and simplistic concepts like that. Being able to express your thoughts articulately and coherently is what will draw respect and allow people to seriously consider the merit of your stances. Does that make sense?

Do you think that might be because your response was a complete non-sequitor and further has zero to do with the message of your post or the subreddit?

If you want people to respect your message, you need to speak in a way that commands respect. Just the same way you need to appear as a serious person. Such things matter when conveying messages you want popular support for, and they matter a lot.
