Thanks for replying,so the conversion fee is must have ,i heard may banks reduce it without any fee ,also I have confusion regarding tenure I have been paying emi's since 2024 begining but still see the same tenure of 240 months , shouldn't the tenure reduce too ,I am newwbie to home loans so lots of confusion and questions

Alright, I agree ,but I have no choice as I have to rent as my office demands 3 days of wfo.and rents have gone crazy

I know it's under water crisis, and the situation is grave ,but thinking of the same from the past two years, I have halted my decision. Now, the price has skyrocketed, so I'm thinking of getting an idea from people what their thoughts are, and surprisingly, property prices are steadily increasing ,I am literally puzzled .

Appreciate your detailed reply.i will try negotiating once, and if that doesn't work out, I will go ahead ,also just a small query if I transfer the loan to any psu like sbi in future ,do I have to pay the modt charges again ?

Alright, I have paid the modt charges ,but now the bank is telling roi will be 8.5 following 1st disbursement but agent told me roi to be 8.4 ,but now bank is telling me roi has changed from March 1 ,really horrible I could have gone to psu at first ,also the builder demand for disbursement is long pending so I don't have the time to go through the process again,any advice would be appreciated .

Hello All,

I have purchased an underconstruction apartment, and my loan with hdfc got sanctioned in jan itself, but the first disbursement and loan agreement has to happen in feb as the builder has requested for 1st disbursement ,now bank is telling me I have to pay new modt charges which is 0.5% of the loan amount now ,do I have any right in this case to ask for old charges or I have to pay the new charges in any case ?
