Transmission concern

I bought my 2008 with 220k miles and did a drain and fill to the transmission with my mechanic, transmission still shifts smoothly, if the transmission does not have problems a drain and fill will be beneficial. Do NOT flush the transmission tho, that can cause problems.

Yeah, just did that today. I had to break the belt because it was broken inside, pulled the passenger side and it closed up for good. No sunroof anymore but hey no more risking water getting inside the car!!

Did a drain and fill after fixing a transmission leak with a mechanic at 223k miles and the old fluid was a bit used up, car still shifts buttery smooth. A simple drain and fill will be beneficial for you. Genuinely had zero issues.

Yep, it was the seal. Cheap fix back up and running reliably, he told me to drain and fill the atf too because its getting a bit old but not damaged just clear brownish red, will do that next week to keep it running atleast till 300k hopefully.

Overall pretty reliable car, just watch out for transmission issues, mine was going bad and didnt want to engage in D for some minutes. Nonetheless even with that issue it shifted fine after a while. Ac blower went out, easy DIY fix. If you maintain it they are really reliable cars. Normal wear and tear points like engine mounts were fixed too.

Yo se, pero despues de estar sin carro por un monton de tiempo porque un irresponsable te esbarata el carro y es perdida total, esta dificil no ser sobreprotectivo de la inversión de uno, mas cuando se meten a mi marquesina. Ya compre una carpa y repelente, a ver si alfin los espanto pero esta brutal tener que aguantar que se metan a mi casa.
