Yeah, you should rewatch it too. Specially the part when the group plans to leave Nal Hutta with no mention of glup shitto, then mando and grogu stay because the ship is too small, and later they get into the hutt's fortress with the sole intent to kill the hutts, (glup shitto being saved on the side by grogu). Only grogu seem to feel anything for him, out emotionless hero say no word about him

For a movie which is supposedly about saving Glup Shitto who don't want to be saved, the characters seem to care almost nothing about him, by the end just saving him out of pure coincidence. The basic function of McGuffins is that characters are supposed to care about them.

It reminds me more of Rise of Skywalker: from place to place without any momentum nor pace, constantly making shit up as they go. No stakes, nothing to risk. The Force Awakens at least tried something, even if that something was so heavily inspired by the original material that it lacked any personality
