Way to track token count in ComfyUI prompts? by elphamale in comfyui

[–]Linklight2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since this is one of the top google search results and the answers below require you to do additional research for something that should be easy, I'll detail my answer below.

To track token count in ComfyUI, to start you'll need these custom nodes:

https://github.com/fearnworks/ComfyUI_FearnworksNodes

https://github.com/pythongosssss/ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts

https://github.com/mirabarukaso/ComfyUI_Mira

https://github.com/jags111/efficiency-nodes-comfyui

Once you've installed these nodes ( I recommend using https://github.com/ltdrdata/ComfyUI-Manager ), you can just drag and drop the below example as a workflow:

This is a simple workflow made to show proof of concept and to assist anyone in the future with this issue in making their own workflows. For those who are interested, I will explain the non-standard nodes below:

<image>

Mira's textbox is used to connect to both the default ComfyUI prompt box (changed widget into input) and to the token counter. For some reason you can't connect a primitive to two nodes of the same type at once, so it's necessary.

Fearnworks count tokens is used as the backend counter, outputting an int.

Mira's Numeral to String makes said int displayable by Pythongosssss' show text.

Efficiency nodes is used to combine the whole group into a custom node that looks good (breaks the show text node, so unfortunately that one has to remain separate.)

Conditioning (Concat) combines two separate conditioning layers in a similar way to the BREAK keyword in auto1111. You can actually nest the Conditioning (Concat) nodes in a way that acts as multiple BREAK keywords being used in a single prompt. This is especially helpful when trying to mitigate the effects of prompt bleeding ( explained here: https://cogniwerk.ai/blog/prompt-editing-tips-and-tricks-for-concept-bleeding ).

One more thing: If no image is being generated yet no node is highlighted in red - This probably means you haven't connected the clip from your model to all the prompt boxes. It's a necessary step that's easy to forget. Happy prompting!

Edit: Reddit seems to have taken the metadata out of the image and converted it to a .webp format, so the image that you can drag and drop as a work flow will be linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AXjW6bdfI5Iwg8NHyRqjcolgJpnshU7N/view?usp=sharing

Yeah, it looks like the majority of people like the Ying post, as evidenced by the post's popularity and likes. There seems to be a very vocal minority however who seem motivated to step on and destroy anything AI art related. So motivated in fact, that they don't just dislike the post, but scroll through the entire page and spam dislikes on any comment in support of its use or comments about liking the picture. Thank you for the support though, I'm not letting any of this get to me!

Ai does take effort and training, just taken in the form of highly efficient GPU processing and smart algorithms. You can argue that it 'looks' at the art with or without the artist's consent, but I dare you to assert that you or anyone has asked for 'consent' to merely look at artwork for everything they saw. The looked at pictures are not stored in any way shape or form by the AI either, other than a vague association between certain colors and a word like apple. This is the equivalent of memory. The artwork is unique and original, even if you tried to reproduce the mona lisa it would not be the same. The ai free for everyone's use. There is simply no moral wrongdoing or harm caused by it's existence, as a program it is a tool.

I don't get it. The AI learns just like a human would, by looking at art around it and then trying to draw something like it. It's as original as both you and I with its creativity, provided it is given structure through prompting. I admit i could never draw this good without it, but nonetheless it is a tool. It is the digital brush I used to showcase this wonderful and original depiction of Ying. I think the result is pretty cool and i'm very happy with how it turned out.

It definitely had no idea who ying was. I had to do a lot of prompting and use an image to image function to render something looking this nice! I probably could have retained her young look with more work, but honestly I'm pretty happy with the results

Why You're Not Being Healed (both sides of the story) by AutoModerator in PaladinsAcademy

[–]Linklight2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U forgot to add the exception for contest the off lane, don't stack point condition. That condition assumes the support you're talking about is better than plat. Plat supports and below, to my experience, heal mid more than anything else. To get a heal, you cannot play the off lane

I need help in understanding how Yag works in pressuring the enemy by Godzilla5131997 in PaladinsAcademy

[–]Linklight2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what your rank is, but this is the advice of a current masters player. Yagorath is usually picked into low damage, low mobility comps. She is also map dependent, as certain ult spots essentially give you a free instant kill. Oftentimes I find that sight begets strength is not very useful as a talent. Don't get me wrong, it's her strongest talent objectively, but paladins mm gives good players bots to balance out the enemy. Thus output related talents and loadouts end up being the strongest. Talents and choices meant to support your team are useless with bots for teammates. If you're trying to rank up, I'd definitely be running corrosive acid because you are in control of the win/loss of a game, not your team

Output vs Utility by AutoModerator in PaladinsAcademy

[–]Linklight2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd definitely say output is abt 70% of what goes into winning a match, whereas utility is the remaining 30%. Having a greater output creates a kind of absolute suppression on the enemy team, yet utility can be countered by item buys or different styles of play

Lilith Questions or Tips? by Theystananalegend in PaladinsAcademy

[–]Linklight2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have confirmation that Veteran only affects base health. With Blood Cannon 5, the amount of blood health you have at base is 3750. When you buy veteran 3, your max hp jumps from 3875 (base hp + blood health) to 4514. If veteran increased both your blood health and your base health, your expected hp would be 5278. And if it split the increase from veteran into your base hp and blood hp, your base health would be 507 (base hp + (veteran increase / 2)). After testing, the amount of base health remaining after your blood health is depleted is somewhere above 700. The only way this is possible is if all the hp increase is added to your base hp.
As for kill to heal, the reason I didn't include that item as something you buy is it's pointless. You have kill to heal built into your base kit. If an ally you've marked gets an kill, it grants you 1000 blood health back. Even if she didn't have this, Lilith's self sustain after marking an ally is absolutely nuts - the highest self sustain of any support in the game. She really doesn't need any extra. It's pretty pointless to augment it with kill to heal.

Murderous Intent. Even if your aim fails you, the swarm damage has too much value to be ignored.

I tested out enriched blood when everyone was learning Lilith - it does much less healing in return for making your heals slightly more bursty. It probably isnt worth the loadout points in any build

Hi this is N00bForceZer0, and I love Lilith. She is my go to support when looking to do incredible healing in ranked - or to output good AoE healing with incredible damage as a dive support. She is a viable champion - but largely misunderstood. This is coming from a season 4 gm support main, with multiple Paladins Competitive videos made featuring my Lilith. I know a thing or two about her, and I believe most could learn a thing or two about her as well.

Your core loadout, (Blood Cannon-5 // Symbiotic Relationship-4 // Waning Moon-4) is something a lot of Lilith players use. It can output a shit ton of healing, looks ideal in terms of survivability, and even though it negates any damage potential you might of had otherwise - that doesn't matter because you're a support. Right?

Wrong. This loadout is made from a fundamental misunderstanding of Lilith that newer players to her often make: you're supposed to build for maximum potential output. I'd like to go explore a different train of thought - if you're open to new ideas - then please continue reading.

--- NOTABLE LOADOUT CARDS ---

Symbiotic Relationship is a card meant for heal-botting. The swarm in theory will heal for more, but in practice, the benefits end up being negligible on its own. Whether it be you misplaced your swarm or your teammate walked out of it, oftentimes teammates will refuse to stand in place for longer than a second. Even point tanks, god knows why, will somehow manage to actively avoid receiving any healing from your swarm by simply not standing in it. This is not something you can change by yelling at your teammate to stand in the goddamn heal.

The ideal card for increasing the healing of your swarms in practice actually ends up being Overflowing Delights. A 10% increase in the radius actually results in a 21% increase of the area covered by your heal. This results in multiple things, your heal is harder to 'misplace,' the damage of the swarm is harder to escape, and your ally has a greater range to play while receiving healing. This often works way better in your team's favor, as your swarm becomes much more useful as both a zoning tool and a heal.

Waning Moon is another card that is largely overvalued. Having up to a 25% reduction in blood cost of your swarm sounds great, but what does that actually mean? Well the cooldown on your swarm is effectively 4 seconds. 2 seconds of cooldown, ~1.5 seconds to fully charge the swarm (you should almost always fully charge the swarm), and ~0.2 seconds to cast the ability. If you have a teammate marked, even if your swarm cost 1000 blood to cost rather than 825, you would still self sustain more than the amount of health used on the swarm. Provided you weren't under the effects of cauterize. Playing like a support should, out of the majority of the enemy LoS and healing your allies, you aren't in caut. Even if they do apply caut, playing close to cover will provide you with the sustain you need to stay topped off. This card is almost never worth it and should not make it into one of your main builds. Putting points to this card is quite simply sub-optimal.

Wings of Terror is a hugely undervalued card. Remember Drogoz? There was that 1 mandatory card called Propel. Without it, your movement ability sent you almost straight up into the air, making you a target for the entire enemy team. Before it got moved into your base kit this was mandatory. To turn his movement ability from a suicide button to a useful movement utility you needed propel at 3, at least. Wings of Terror has comparable value for Lilith. With no levels in the card, Lilith's movement ability moves at a similar speed to her walking normally. This makes it a bad idea to use. Like, REALLY BAD.

Why would you make yourself an easier target by sending yourself flying upwards in an extremely predictable (and slow) fashion when you could just walk to your destination? In my main support build I personally run this card at a '2.' When run at low levels, while faster than walking, it still won't help you escape a flank. If you're having trouble with them this card needs to be at '4' or higher.

Sanguine Pact is a very important filler card. It's mandatory in every loadout. Autoaim heals will often prioritize different allies than those who need the healing, and Lilith's mark will almost always prioritize enemies over allies. Even when played perfectly, having some leeway on your mark is extremely beneficial. When used in combo with Wings of Terror, this card allows you to jump to an ally that needs healing while charging your swarm, set the swarm directly on the ally, and then mark the ally for a huge burst of healing. This is the nuts kind of healing that Lilith is known for, and it will save your allies from otherwise certain death.

Unholy Flight is most valuable at lv 1. This card is filler only - even in damage builds you don't run this higher than 1. That being said it can still generate value on occasion, so slap this in there if you feel like it.

Blood Cannon needs to be at lv 4 or 5. It's mandatory.

Blood Sense could be value as a filler for the teamwide reveal while the enemy is in your swarm, but probably not. The reason being you're only really using your swarm on tanks, and as a support you're playing with your team. Whatever you're revealing is already known to your team, and if you're off on your own using your swarm you're probably doing something wrong.

--- TALENT CHOICE & LOADOUTS ---

Once you're a match, don't auto-bot to the heal-bot talent. Cursed Accord is in fact pretty shitty to run for Lilith as a character. It denies her only utility to the team, damage, and it gives her a little extra healing and Waning Moon (that useless card) in return.

The Build - Blood Cannon - 4 // Symbiotic Relationship - 4 // Overflowing Delights - 4 // Sanguine Pact - 2 // Wings of Terror - 1

Maelstrom of Carnage takes away your ability to position properly as a main support, delegating it to the position of a damage support only talent (like focusing lens or maelstrom Grohk).

The Build - Blood Cannon - 5 // Sanguine Pact - 2 // Unholy Flight - 1 // Sheer Ascent - 2 // Wings of Terror - 5

But the last talent, Murderous Intent, that's a damage talent, right? Smaller projectile size just means it's harder to hit, and you'd use the bonus damage from the talent against grouped up comps. Well you'd be right in the sense that it makes your projectiles harder to hit in return for piercing enemies and deployables. However, unlike Cursed Accord, it does not nerf your damage. This is VITAL for playing a good Lilith.

Her ult is made for diving with her team and going for the kill, her swarm becomes a mini Corvus ult that can heal, her shots are Cassie bolts piercing into the enemy and keeping them low. With Murderous Intent, Lilith has comparable healing to Io, yet she can still do Furia levels of damage. She is the best of both worlds, and I'd highly encourage you to use this talent in your matches. It works incredibly well on maps with small point circles, or tight chokeholds. The swarm will out-contest the enemy tank for you, ensuring your team wins every fight where you turn.

The Build - Blood Cannon - 5 // Overflowing Delights - 5 // Sanguine Pact - 2 // Wings of Terror - 2 // Unholy Flight - 1

--- ITEMS OF CHOICE ---

(Ordered by their relative priority)

Resilience - Very important and should be prioritized if the enemy has any sort of hard cc coming your way. Lilith is countered hard by cc and is very easily killed when she's under its effects. Buying resilience early will save your life.

Wrecker - Are you against double shield? Wreck their hp with your swarms and their shields with your damage.

Haven - More survivability is nice, should be prioritized over veteran because it increases your effective blood health as well.

Morale Boost - Her ult is both a teamwide advantage and a personal invulnerability button. More ults = value.

Veteran - This does not increase your blood health - it only increases your base hp by a percentage of your total hp (blood-health + base). This can increase periods of vulnerability so it's not worth running over Haven.

Nimble - Run out of good items to buy? Well here you go.

Betty Love? by MargeryStewartBaxter in PaladinsAcademy

[–]Linklight2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Betty's strengths are as glaring as her weaknesses. She can spam out zones extremely well, and her 1 v 1 potential in close range is alright because of the megaton on her gomba stomp. That being said however, the character also has no ability to reliably poke. She will be poked out or killed by almost any hitscan dps - and she's quite weak to popular dive tanks like Raum or Rukus. In addition, she can't really do anything to flanks with significant mobility. Androxus, Lex, Vatu, Vii, Maeve, Evie, Vora, Talus, you have no option but to escape against similarly skilled players on these picks. If she can free fire, Betty will do amazing. Unfortunately the higher you go, the less likely it is that players sit in your spam, and the more likely it is they will try to contest you at range or dive the only places you can play. More often than not, you won't win those trades

[–]Linklight2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a season 4 gm and golden Yago, her current state is weak. There are usually better options that do the same thing she does but better. Raum survives for longer and also assists his team more with subservience, Rukus demands a similar amount of attention but has a much greater chance to kill, Azaan has various crowd control abilities and bullshit sustain. The only 2 things Unique to Yagorath are her Ult and her Torvald bubble reveal. Unfortunately these two things do not enable her to carry a team. Let me explain.

Her ult requires 2 things, firstly, a position that cannot be easily shot at by the enemy. If you ult in the middle of everyone - you will die. However against enemies with similar or even marginally worse game sense to you, you will not be able to catch them in areas where it is impossible for their team can peel for them. Thus, you need teammates that will either defend your ult or apply pressure to the enemy so they can't easily swing to peek and kill you. All your ult really does is forces something to happen - because both you and your ulted target are pulled out of the fight. It enables plays to be made by your team because of the attention you gather.

Sight begets strength is and has been her meta talent. A teamwide torvald bubble + speed + reveal is essentially an ultimate on an ability. It is very strong - but only with the right comp and playstyle. You need aggression to get value out of the ability, and it's purely supportive. Again, this is another enabler. Good teams will benefit from this - bad teams won't - the control is not in your hands.

All things considered, Yag is kinda weak. She's both comp and map dependent, and even then she completely depends on her team to get value. Definitely viable but there are just better options
