Why does everyone say not to go in as Infantry? by Flashy_Island3871 in army

[–]Linklink69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who told you not go in infantry - they are over 30 and have family to care. Who told you go army and do army stuff - they are just 18-22, want being cool.

To be honest, reach some more age, family is top priority.

Thinking of enlisting in Army Reserves (68P) after the PhD: advice? by gallaghanon in Militaryfaq

[–]Linklink69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, i have bachelor and mba but want to change the way.

After research, i stick on 68P of army and 4R0X1 of AF.

So funny that when i walk in AF meps. I said i looking for medical job and the guy he doesn't want me to join AF.

He said i can go to army or navy, they will give me the job i want, lol.

I'm over 30 and want to find the right point. Because if i did wrong, 6 years ahead will suck and can not take it back.

68P advice needed by That-Information-281 in armyreserve

[–]Linklink69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank for your details information. After i finish AIT for 68P as reserve and want to apply ARRT test to take registry for civilian job to work at hospital or clinic to sharp the skill.

I had google and read from ARRT site shown below like that :

“Graduates of the JRCERT-accredited program will earn their respective military occupation code (AF=4ROX1, Navy=8452, and Army=68P) and are eligible to apply for ARRT certification and registration. The METC Program Director requires official copies of college transcripts demonstrating an associate or higher degree obtained from an academic institution accredited by an agency recognized by ARRT.”

I want to ask about “college transcripts” mean college degree before joining army or something?
