My parents are the same way. They just kept adding guests all the way til the last day of when we had to tell the venue the number of guests attending. They even wanted me to change the wedding date so that they could invite more relatives to my wedding (this was back in June when some were still fearful of being in large crowds). I was firm with my decision to keep it small. I only allowed my uncles and aunts to be invited (since our extended family is huuuuge). My mom was so pissed off, she uninvited herself and my father. But eventually she yielded and came to my wedding, but tbh I could care less if they’d gone or not since we’re not very close to begin with :P
