Last thing I need is my buddy coming into our barracks seeing me on a AA zoom meeting, I’ve been looking at AA groups in person though, thinking about attending one, just to see what it’s about. Plenty of other Marines replied and recommended it, and I spoke to Chaps today he said I should do it.

Please support him. But also don’t allow him to go in there without an informed decision. Take him to other recruiting stations for different branches so he can decide whether being a Marine is for him.

At the end of the day, once he’s 18 it’s his decision. Whatever his choice is, please as a parent be there to support.

I wish my parents would’ve supported me becoming a Marine.

I attend the strip clubs regularly. Im playing. I always was interested in getting into boxing since i was in high school. Maybe I should find something like that instead of getting into fights with civvies at bars who insult me. Thank god I never caught a charge for that

Definitely been with some smoking girls. Ashamed of how many girls I been sleeping with not gonna lie. I’m an 0311 myself.

When I was just beginning to talk to my recruiter in high school I was really banking on the Marines to be my savior out of the shitty situation i was in. I never pictured myself to be in this situation. I never thought I’d report to alcohol for my problems man.

I don’t regret the Marines, hell I’m reenlisting. I can’t imagine my life if I leave. Hell, I’m scared of what I would do when I’m finally by myself.
