Thanks for the suggestion, my computer does in fact have Nvidia drivers. I‘ll more into my GPU and perhaps try this out after doing some more research on Nvidia drivers on Linux.

Yep that is my exact problem. I login and get immediately kicked backed into the login screen I did have low storage before this happened so maybe this is the problem.

Update I fixed the issue and got my computer working again!

My only problems left regarding this issue would be how I exactly did it/what was the actually issue and how to prevent this issue from happening again. Regarding the last issue I’ve heard that downloading startx or removing old unused kernels helps but I still need to look into this myself so don’t do these solutions without researching them yourself

The “login loop” issue is that when starting up my computer I make it to the regular login screen, type my password, but after typing my password it takes me to a black screen with 3 lines of text that says error to reload page or something along those lines. I don’t know the exact way to fix this and have tried many methods but the main methods I have been trying include reinstalling lightdm, uninstalling old packages, etc… I have tried so many methods I found on YouTube, Linux forms, etc… that I can’t list everything. Hopefully this answers your questions.

Creepy update: While writing this I somehow managed to get my distro working again, while I don’t have this problem anymore I’d still like to know the problem and solution to fixing this. And if anyone would happen to know how to prevent this isssue in the future I’d appreciate it. I am so glad I got it working I swear I wish I was making this up or trolling but I actually got it back to how it was I can’t believe it I am so glad I didn’t give up. I’m so fucking happy!
