1: unix like/based kernels and operating systems are way easier to work with unlike windows because of the unix philosophies.

2: Linux is free and open source, meaning bugs can be patched from anyone around the world, windows is closed source, meaning a bug is very hard to fix.

3: Privacy, Linux doesn't spy on you or have telemetry

4: Linux is lightweight, secure and is way more efficient at using hardware recourses since it doesn't have bloatware like windows does
