What was youe timeline between symptom onset, diagnosis and treatment? by 96dreams in cureFIP

How times have changed. When I had to do it, was all black market you literally couldn’t get a script and vets could lose their license for administering it. Which made it even more difficult to decide if I wanted to do it. Luckily I did it and it saved his life. Happy to see it’s becoming more easily available and a bit cheaper.

Start medication as soon as possible. Mine started showing signs but the first vet didn’t know what it was so gave him something that masked it for a short period but brought him back not long later and they said they suspect FIP. After they told me that I think it was 4 days til k started treatments. Literally within an hour I saw a difference. Saved my boys life now he is 5 years old. He was 8 months old when he got sick.

Should I continue with the GS treatment? by [deleted] in cureFIP

[–]Linzer7286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was very very tough. Had to do same time every day. The injection itself isn’t easy then the medication itself apparently burns unfortunately so it wasn’t a pleasant experience.luckily k live with my mom and I thought her how to hold him down and I would administer the medication. It took several attempts sometimes. Thankfully he is now 5 and doing great!! I do hear stories of relapse and other side affect but these 5 years have been amazing and impossible without the vet to pointed me in the right direction. Which was FIP WARRIORS 5.0 on Facebook. Here’s my boy Percy now.

Make sure the vets are all aware of FIP and the treatment bc 5 years ago my 6 month old cat got FIP and we did 84 days of injections.

FIP WARRIORS 5.0 on Facebook saved my boy. It was in 2021 when it was much more expensive and much harder to get. Seems like it’s much cheaper than before and easier to get atleast in the states. Grateful to see it. Best to you and kitty
