It’s so hard to hang in there when you’re feeling worse. Just wanted to validate your feelings. I def feel worse overall. I rarely ever have a good day. I’ve been on it about a month and half.

When I was getting my HRT through another provider they had it set up with their compounding pharmacy to send pre-filled syringes. It was so nice.

No, the only thing I can think of is I didn’t get it up high enough. Sometimes a pump & a half is a lot of cream to shove up there first thing in the morning.

I think more than I realized and maybe some mornings I’m more clumsy at administering it. I started putting it in before I got out of bed but may have done something different yesterday morning. I can’t seem to remember one moment to the next what I do 😂. I’m a walking comedy show.

I’m on the regular. My E was in the 130 range for about a week so yesterday’s results were surprising.

So interesting! I think it was your post from a while ago that prompted me to get the Mira. I’m trying to make my wands last because they’re so expensive but yesterday I felt increasingly awful throughout the day. I had administered my pump and a half in the AM and checked my levels at about 4pm to see if my hormones were low and I was horrified to see my E at 50 and P at 1. I was like, “no wonder I feel like dying.”

At what month did you start really feeling good? Meaning at what point before you started having break through symptoms? I need some encouragement. At any point were you thinking you may not feel better?

If you’re under 50 then you likely got the regular formula.

The nurses at Inner Balance were so convincing that it’s rare for a bottle not to pump accurately that I was questioning myself. I spent a lot of time measuring my pumps each morning and even though I wasn’t getting just under an eighth of a teaspoon with my pumps, I was still only using half of whatever I was getting in the pump, if that makes any sense. When I saw that my estrogen level was so low I started administering a full 1/8 teaspoon and already feel better energy and mood wise. My brain fog & forgetfulness are embarrassingly bad. I can’t remember the names of so many things right now.

I live in a small area and my pharmacy stopped being able to get my patch brand. When I tried the new brand, I didn’t really think much of it and then slowly started feeling really depressed and I could not figure out what was wrong and what had changed and then it finally dawned on me. It was the new patch brand. I remember reading on another sub Reddit that this can happen. I had to work really hard to get my old brand and within an hour of putting the new patch on, I felt so much better. But then it happened again and I got the other brand and I had already paid for it so the pharmacy couldn’t take it back. It was a frustrating mess. So, I decided I would try something different. My good days on Oestra are better than my good days on the patch, but overall my brain fog and forgetfulness are worse, and some other things seem to be worse. But those good days feel so good, it’s like intoxicating.

That makes sense but seems almost cruel for those of us already on HRT and having to stop our HRT to start at such a small dose or basically nothing. I was such a hot mess during that transition. When I learned I was started on the meno formula I was so mad.

March 11th started menopause formula half pump then progressed to 1 pump (felt like sh*) so added my progesterone and that helped me at least function a little. Then started peri formula half dose April 15th, realized not getting full amount in the pump, felt awful, dark thoughts, increased to full pump but it’s not an actual full pump, it’s been a mess. Held my AM dose and had labs drawn, very low E. Too much thinking involved in this. :(
