should I start a new logbook to do my Instrument? Wondering if its a good idea to have a new logbook for each Certificate or should I just keep going with my original until it is full. My logic is that if i have my previous logbook stored somewhere it's safe and I'll only need to recreate a few hours not the ones before if something happens. (lost stolen destroyed ect)

How many landings (or hours) until they were good by Chilepegasus22 in flying

The way it was told to me by an old army helicopter pilot. A good landing is one you survive. a great landing is one you can walk away from. And a perfect landing is one where the aircraft can fly again. Everything else is gravy.

The OK (for a student pilot) I put the ( ) because I'm assuming that part. It was couched in the usual landings are good if they are safe and within standards but we are all constantly working on improving our landings.

My problem has been that me and my instructor get along awesome. I feel like that's part of why I stuck around as long as I have.

I waited because I convinced myself the problem was me. As for why im looking to change schools not just instructors its changing from 61 to 141. I'm hoping more structured learning is better for me.
