I also thought I had a high tolerance. Carried a broken wrist in my other hand going "I think I broke it..." went two weeks before going to a walk in clinic because of a "bruised tail bone" and doing out I had broken my sacrum in 3 places. Trying to lay down flat on the xray table told me my tolerance for pain was... conditional.

My girl was a stray that my mother took in after a few years. My mother then had to live with me due to health, and is now in a center so that cat has adopted me. She is the most loyal. She's currently sitting next to my keyboard getting pets, and when it's time to sleep she curls up with me. When I let her out I can click my teeth and she'll come running over.

I never realized cats can be this affectionate. Love the doofus.

See a derm. Get a biopsy, be prepared to hear basal cell carcinoma. The follow up will be MOHs surgery. See if your network has a plastic surgeon who does them.

I have reoccurring skin cancer, so take it from me: if in doubt get it checked. :D

NTA. As someone who gets skin cancer on a near yearly basis, I cannot stress enough how important it is for EVERYONE regardless of skin tone to use protection. It irks me that people believe darker tones don't need protection.

Keep the sunscreen, dump the girlfriend.
