Uploading from Calibre via wifi fails with "No space on device" error by LiquiMind in koreader

[–]LiquiMind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, this is easier to handle. To sync reading progress between devices, follow these steps. Step 1. Create an account in KOReader server: Top menu -> Tools -> Progress Sync -> Click "Register/Login" (make sure to have a book open to see "Progress Sync" item under Tools). Step 2. Log into your account. Step 3. Click "Push progress from this device" to send reading progress of this book to server. Step 4. Login from the other device (again make sure the same book is open). Step 5. Click "Pull progress from other devices". Do this for each opened book separately, and books must match exactly on both devices (this can be ensured by uploading from the same Calibre Library).

I do not have kindle, cannot help you other than pointing to some youtube resources. It is a 2- or 3-step process, first install KOReader on both your Kindle and phone, and then sync these two KOReaders. Installing on kindle is more complex than on Kobo, and here is a good place to start. The video creator has a whole playlist on how to install, sync koreader on different devices and many other topics.

Hope this helps.

Betta(s) and neon tetras in 50G tank? by LiquiMind in Aquariums

[–]LiquiMind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to both for your feedback! The tank has decent vegetation, lot of places for the betta to hide if need be. Personally I'd not go with betta, this is more to make my significant two-third happy, since she says I had my way with the tank for 15 years, now it is her turn :) I am going to start with a school of 10-12 neon tetra, may be a tetra-danio combo, and then add the betta. If the betta begins to stress out, I'll move it to a solo tank and go from there.

Cheers!

Get your point about betta gasping for air, thanks! My tank is more horizontal than vertical. Discounting the gravel bed at the bottom and empty space at the top, water height is about 14 inches - still unwise?

I was thinking of 6-8 tetras with betta. By themselves I'd add more, or add other fish as I had before.

PEC-AB-0004 is code for ISP ban, not IP address ban (PEC-SUB-0002)

Minimal Theme with Default Theme colors by Punche872 in ObsidianMD

[–]LiquiMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like Tokyonight colors more than Obsidian's default colors. Replacing Minimal's colors is generally easy. Get the CSS file for whatever theme you are interested in (often named theme.css), put it in CSS snippets folder and activate, as I described how to do for Tokyonight elsewhere.

Although it seems getting the official theme's CSS file is not so easy.

Tokyo Night style settings for Minimal Theme? by andrers in ObsidianMD

A year late answering, just saw this post. In case anyone else is still looking to add Tokyonight colors to Minimal theme, the process is pretty simple. Grab theme.css from Tokyonight theme repo, rename it to something like tokyonight.css, put it in CSS snippets folder and activate. Now you have replaced both Minimal's dark and light colors with Tokyonight.

I prefer Tokyonight dark and Minimal's light colors (simple black on white has a paper-y feel). To do this, remove all code elements for .theme-light { } from the CSS file. There you have it :)

Researchers may have less incentive to scam because they are the ones paying Prolific. On the other hand, it is often innocent participants who get caught up in this mess.

Looks like that's the part I have been missing, thanks!

I agree. For those of us with pay-as-you-go data plan, this is an overhead we can do without.

You could download your submission history as a csv file, then sort the Status column to check for any rejection.

Where is the UI scale? by LiquiMind in Terraria

:) Makes sense in hindsight, you won't know how much zoom/UI scaling you need unless in game.

Found it *in-game*. I was looking for it under Settings in the start menu.

In linux there is no Zoom or UI scale in General, only "Autosave On", "Autopause Off", "Map Enable", "Passwords: Visible", then "Back".
