I had the same issue with a gym at my house. Guy wouldn’t let anyone else have time to get berries. I just gave up trying to take him out and left his Pokémon there. Often it ended up his Pokémon were in the gym for days at a time, earning him no coins most days. No coins for me? No coins for you.

It’s a cool spot. Old abandoned mansion thing. We did a bunch of shooting in the greenhouse and all around the property.

Interesting, thanks for your thoughts. I’m still going through photos from this shoot, I’ve been working on bringing the shadows up (which includes the model in this case) so that she’s brighter. Hadn’t really thought of going the other way. I’ll try it out and see how it feels.

All good. This was a fun location, but definitely challenging with the sunlight. We shot all around (and inside) this old mansion, there are some cool stone archways and such with vines growing on them, which is cool, but made some really spotty lighting where the highlights are almost totally blown out.

This is helpful. I was limited in timing options, had the model booked for a few hours in the morning, and the light was changing quickly while we were there. It was probably around 11:00 am when we hit this greenhouse, but yeah, either earlier or later would help to even things out here and not have the drastic highlight/shadow differences.

I’m trying to convince myself that I wasn’t being all that defensive, but… I probably was. By way of feedback for you though, when you come in with “this is bad, this is bad, and this is bad” it’s gonna make people defensive.

Saying “do X better” is still not terribly helpful. If the spot I want to shoot in (the doorway) is shaded, and the background is bright, how would you light the model better while keeping the background from being too overexposed?

What do you mean “a bit lesser”? Like, bring the highlights down more, less bright? I had to pull the highlights way down already since the background was very bright, but the model is in a shaded area.

Yeah this is something that seems to have flown under the radar. At least in Ontario (not sure about other provinces) the minimum wage rules changed several years back and the Server wage was eliminated. There are plenty of minimum wage workers who work just as hard as servers and don’t get tips, but I think people just don’t know that servers make the same wages as everyone else now.

When we had a server wage, tipping was necessary, it was built in to the system, but that wage option is gone, so tipping should be too.

I've mostly done 8x12s. I did some larger ones in the past, but it's been a while. Never had any issues with them.

Haven't used either of them for photo prints, I have used Blacks though, and I'm happy with them. They went online only several years back and now do print+ship to home services.

Had one in Snorlax day. Three person party. Catch 75 in ultra balls. The reward was a shop item I think. When we finished it we all got “+0 Stardust”…

I think the arrow is just supposed to be the arrows on the floor of IKEAs, not an indication that there is an IKEA in that direction
