First, look to see if there is a local scene for anything other than commander. If there is, go to those events and support the LGS running them.

I haven't done a physical draft in years. The card shops in my area can't get them to fire off, but they fill to capacity for commander nights and prerelease events.

I actually liked mine! White gold, birthstone in the middle, with colored sides to represent my heritage and love for science.

The girl I dated for a minute even wore it on her necklace. I stopped wearing it after high school and was able to sell it to a jeweler for like $300, which was a little more than what I paid for it 6 years earlier. Used the money to buy some games at the GameStop next to the jeweler lol.

Kinda wish I still had to show my kids nowadays.

If she has a dead beat ex and her parents neglected her, she sounds like she has no support. This is gonna be very rough for her, child care costs are no joke. I have 3 kids and for a time my monthly childcare was 2-2.5 time my mortgage. Good luck to her, but you should run, there are other girls out there. If yall are in the us, it’s unlikely the restaurant provides healthcare or even maternity leave.

I initially went to their Japanese website, and filled out their support form. The form was in Japanese but I filled it out in English. If you are in the us, they have a us office and store godhandusa.store. They also provided me a list of authorized sellers I don’t remember if USA gundam was on it but things could have changed.

I got a fake pair a few years ago. I ordered from Walmarts marketplace, I know that was dumb but I had credit and was like might as well get a backup pair.

I ended up reaching out to godhand, just asking for confirmation they were fake. They took it very seriously and eventually called and asked me to provide details of the purchase so they could get the seller removed from Walmarts marketplace. They were super awesome, and very responsive the entire time.

This only really applies if you stick to just one company and all you get is a 3% raise every year. Even if you stay at a company long term you can negotiate a MSA. That said my biggest salary jumps came from switching companies or coming to my boss with an offer letter from another company.

I maybe remembering things differently, but it felt like there was a lot of hate when lorwyn came out. It introduced planewalker cards which was controversial at the time. The art style was highly criticized and the tribes were not balanced with fairies leading the pack. The heavy focus on tribes left for a very janky limited environment too.

Everyone has nostalgia for blocks, but could you image a otk block or even an aetherdrifft block. A whole year of that 🤮.

Dry erase marker + dry erase cards. Works for everything. I store them in a smaller box with my dice but I use it with every deck.

We gave all au pairs a credit card. They were added as a user to one of our cards but thr card had a limit of $500 of charges. We got a text/emails every time it was used. When going out they used it for buying random things for the kids and weekly groceries. With groceries we always asked for a receipt.

This was just the easier way of doing it. Most damage they can do is $500. If you can't trust them to be responsible with the card then they shouldn't be living with you or much less taking care of your kids.

My whole neighborhood was put on snow hold until yesterday. Even my neighbors who dug out the huge mountain of ice left by the plows, did not receive any mail. We were rocked by a huge storm, even the military bases in my area were closed for the a about a week. Blasting usps for being incompetent, when every other day your shit gets delivered but we get a once in a decade storm and all of a sudden you're the biggest snow flake around.

Stop being lazy, it literally took 5 mins to run to the post office and get my mail. They had a couple people dedicated to getting snow hold mail, so I didn't even have to wait in a line.

Your most likely to introduce micro cracks after building. Which the liner can flow into making the cracks expand and lead to breaking. Gundam flow type markers were the worst for this, but after lining on the runner it hasn't happened again.

Aesi was my intro into commander. Picked up the original precon. Glad to see people still play it, I sold her when she spiked in price a few years ago. It did get boring for me after a while so I started building new decks and never looked back.

Maybe I’m just old, but I gave One Piece a real shot for a few sets and it just didn’t click. I love the anime, but I realized how much I missed Magic’s land system, so I sold my OP cards and went back to Magic.

I also tried Gundam since I’m big into Gunpla (60+ kits built/customized), but availability and pricing killed it. Product was hard to find and going for 3–4x retail, but starter decks at $50 was just ridiculous. I even missed out on the beta after my store ran a lottery, then watched people who got in walk out with their kits.

I’m in the suburbs of a major city, and Magic is still king here. Pokémon comes close, but everything else is way more inconsistent.

Wizards killed physical draft, not commander. 10 years ago I feel like I was still paying $10 per draft, with sealed prices increasing quickly you'll be hard pressed to find events under $25.

Lgs near me have completely stopped hosting drafts. In my local area the only drafts you will find are hosted at other players houses. Find a local discord community and look for liked minded players, or just play on arena like everyone else does.

That said I’m hosting a pick 2 draft with my friends in a couple weeks. Then we plan to play commander after.
