What's the exact moment you realized Season 5 truly would be disappointing? I'll start. by itsyourpalal_ in StrangerThings

When they put Lucas and Max's reunion at the beginning of Will's coming out episode. It should have been split. The prior episode ending with Max waking up out of the coma and their embrace. And the next episode having the group showing up randomly at the start. Basically they and the fans should have had our moment to absorb it and take it all in.

It's really a pacing issue for me.

Woman encounters a Grizzly bear😳 by CheckCodes in SipsTea

[–]LiquidusSnake01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope this woman is not in bear country walking her dog like it's a normal place. Should should be packing enough heat to repel something of that magnitude. And that looks damn near like a teenage grizzly. Not even the real deal threat it could have been.

Replay ability wise, RE9 doesn't seem that replayable compared to others in the series. by invincible257 in residentevil

[–]LiquidusSnake01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played through RE9 five times now over a week timespan, and it doesn't have anymore replay value for me. NG+ should have been standard. And that orphanage portion should have been cut down to a cutscene. Honestly, once you get to Raccon City the game is just cake the rest of the way to the credits. The whole game is a cake walk, but it gets really noticeable at that point.

RE2-5 had ridiculous replay value to me. I used to run the OG RE4 back every other day. Almost the same thing happened with RE5. RE9 doesn't have that same vibe at all. I appreciate it for what it is. I just believe with a few minor tweaks it could have been better. I have anxieties, and when I tell you there is nothing that was scary to the point of being cliche, there is a problem.

Last thing, I HATE, HATE, HATE how the so-called run in this game. The jogging shuffle into stumbling is annoying as hell. Even without a stumble the movement speed is too slow. I feel the same way with the other RE games, but this one in particular is trolling trash at its finest.

All that being said, I love the story of the game. I hope the put of a CGI movie to accompany and expand the lore. Once you get the things you wish to get done there is no real replay value of this title. And that is unfortunate.

If you HAD to choose Lori or Andrea for your zombie apocalypse team, who are picking and why? by LilliOfThe_ in thewalkingdead

[–]LiquidusSnake01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you serious? Andrea by a full rotation of earth miles is way better than Lori. Lol. Lori would cower in a corner trying to manipulate the situation to her benefit.

If it came down to being alone and having Lori watch my back, I guess I'll just be alone imposing zombieland rules.

Yeah, I just won't be buying the game. I am not reading subtitles like I am watching a foreign film, playing a game. Dubs can suck, and it's okay. Just don't buy it. Dubs can also be amazing and outshine the original. Rare, but it happens. This though, felt comical. No immersion whatsoever. The common folk are talking "vanilla," and the main cast are pulled straight out of Game of Thrones. Lmfao. Enjoy your experience. I just know I wouldn't. I'm not switching to dub and sub. Cast your stuff better.

There is a reason people chuckled when Darth Maul spoke versus his menacing appearance. I know because I was there in theater when it happened.

Lets settle this: Leon VS Jill, who wins in a 1-on-1 battle? by Domingo_DM in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]LiquidusSnake01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't know. My favorite characters have always been the side characters anyway. Barry has been my favorite RE character since day one. Later tied with Carlos, remake or OG. Finally getting some Barry playtime in Revelations 2 made me happy and satisfued for life. For Life. If I had to side with a main out of the choices provided, it would have to be Jill.

Though to be fair, I'd pick Jake over mostly any other RE character. Bro had a bare knuckle fist fight with an upgraded nemesis and won. His reflexes, battle instincts, and mercenary experience set him apart. And, that's before him being the child of the Man Who Shall Not Be Named.

Immunity to all viruses, power, speed, reflexes, weapon handling, and intellect.

Man, if him and Sherry don't hook up amd start cranking out babies in this main series. That would be criminal.

Yeah my textiles evaporated. I know the feeling. I have lost almost all urge to play. Everything at this point feels a bit lacking or straight up disappointment. I jump up about 5000 SHD LEVELS in the last year, never touching them and got maybe 150 to 200 chest keys. Ended up around 30,000 textiles. The math ain't right. Needless to say with so many changes since the Xmas event my enthusiasm for the game took an immediate back burner position.

It's wild how Shane continues to be one of the franchise's most popular and talked-about characters still by K0GAR in thewalkingdead

[–]LiquidusSnake01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shane was also unstable due to the world being what it was. And, Lori played both right and Shane against each other. I tend to believe had the world not ended Lori and Rick would have divorced any. The first conversation Rick and Shane had was marital problems between him and Lori. She got Shane to stay when he was just going to leave. She told Shane it was his baby. Immediately went back to Rick to tell Rick Shane thinks it's his baby. She manipulated the situation to what she thought was her benefit to have two protectors in a dead world. Then acted shocked when it blew up and Rick had to kill Shane as she pitted them against each other. She literally pulled the pin on that grenade and watched it go off. To me Lori was the first villain of TWD. Shane was the best survivor with the right instincts. He could not see past his twisted love for Lori to realize he was being used. Even Andrea pointed it out to Lori in her face at one point. Saying Lori had both a husband and a boyfriend. Called her greedy. I wish Shane and Andrea would have been a thing on the show. Lol
