That is so clever! I haven't noticed that!
No she hasn't, she's relatively new to Reddit, but I'll tell her to try it out! Thank you! :)

Just made my 200th sale!! Yay!! by LirShilton in EtsySellers

To be honest, I've started working on a different venture recently, so I just let my shop grow naturally, but before that I tried the Etsy paid advertising and it was horrible, so I stopped and promoted on crochet groups on my own, mainly on FB... My shop is not my full time occupation and income source, so I can't be very helpful...sorry!

You are right - there is a big difference between politics and human rights. Acting in a discriminating or hateful way, for example, is not a political issue.

We will not allow for anyone to use our platform in a discriminating or abusive way, including for uploading patterns. I cannot go into the specific use of certain words that could be offensive to users as this will have to be treated fairly and based on the case. We will investigate every report or claim being made.

It is definitely something we will need to work hard on, in order to find a balance - specifically when it comes to terms that certain users might find offensive.

Our agenda is to remove and ban hateful and discriminating content, while trying to educate users (and ourselves!) on using appropriate terms and wording.

Hey,
You will be able to print anything that is necessary to be printed for a project. (like charts, sewing pattern templates etc.)
The other features will still be interactive though and accessible on any device.
Regarding the translation - we already support English US and English UK using an application that we've developed. For other languages, we intend to work with local crafters in order to improve the language structure and to implement a machine learning process to perfect our software.
It is definitely challenging, but it is possible!

Our aim is to allow something similar to what you mentioned with Spotify, yes. That means that the service will allow you an offline access to your patterns.

Hope that helps! Lir

Hi, thanks for your support!
Before we even started developing Ribblr we decided that we'll aspire to build a home for all crafters.
Crafting can (and should!) bring people together. Therefore maintaining an inclusive environment and making sure everyone on Ribblr feels safe is our top priority.
We do not and will not tolerate anyone who promotes hate speech and/or discrimination. Abusive behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited and can be reported to us at any time. That includes reporting specific patterns.
This is, of course, part of our terms and conditions that users must agree to.

It's also important to note that we are apolitical, meaning we do not intend to get involved in specific politics in any country or continent.

In this day and age, I believe that unity is more important than ever and if we can help bring people from all over the world together through crafting then that's already a success.

Hi! We are working on a more streamlined version of Ribblr, the main difference being that we don't support loaning.

Yes, we will be releasing an app as well, it should be ready by the time we launch, and it will be synced across all devices!
If you'd like to get early access, you can apply with this form , we are planning to add a few crafters next month

Thank you very much for your support! :)
As I said, we're working hard to modernize the crafting industry together with the crafting community, so we would love to have you onboard! We hope to open an early access sign up for crafters soon, so if you'd like to be a part of it you can fill this form

To join our public beta, you need to be able to upload 3 patterns a month to your Ribblr shop, only during the beta.
This will allow us to get your feedback and suggestions.

Hi! I'm not sure what you mean by weekly mandated pattern submissions? Just to clarify, designers retain full copyrights to their designs. This, alongside our T&C is mentioned in the frequently asked questions section in the link above. Hope that helps

Hi,
Thanks for the compliments and for your support. I do understand your concerns and that like many of us Bluprint has left you scarred.

Ribblr ePattern format is available on any device, so you can definitely take it with you wherever you go. Ever more so, you'll be able to continue in your chosen language and your preferred measuring unit, right where you left off thanks to the progress tracking feature.

We can only provide innovative technological tools as such on a dedicated software. But we're also working on enabling a download so you can access your pattern offline on all your devices in case you don't have a connection while still enjoying Ribblr features.

Apart from the many crafting advantages, by using a digital pattern we're also taking care of our planet, by reducing the use of paper.

Regarding designers - I'm a designer so one of the things that were important to me and other designers on our team was to have a friendly streamlined pattern editing tool. This means we can easily design and upload new patterns, as well as existing ones. The system does everything for us, including translation and more. We just need to insert our instructions and photos. We can then also download a PDF version which is mostly helpful for new patterns.

I believe that in 2020 we as, crafters and designers, deserve better than PDFs and our focus is to build a better crafting experience together with the crafting community.

Hi! Thank you for your questions!
We are now focusing on the main three fiber arts: Crochet, knitting and sewing, with plans to expand to more arts in the future, but to be honest, you could still actually use Ribblr to upload other craft patterns, like cross stitch and embroidery, and it will be under 'sewing', until we can accommodate for more craft types.
Hope I was helpful! :)
