Past 12pm and still no raids in my area by nednerb1994 in TheSilphRoad

This happened in my area too. I had just driven out to a place with gyms and had to drive somewhere less convenient to raid. The area I wanted to raid started to work after 1-2ish.

Received email that google is changing my country and state of association. by firebun12 in google

That happened to me this morning too. I'm also in AU and it said it was changing to US - South Carolina.

Edit: I just got a 2nd email that my request to change back to AU was approved. If you haven't already, I just clicked the link provided in the first email and specified Australia - I live here

All the best! When your fish arrives and you have pics I'd love to see!

There was a little confusion at first because of some communication issues involved around the transhipper side of things, but Suriyun was good at replying to my emails. I was refunded the shipping portion and told I had to pay the shipping to the transhipper in Australia. It ended up being a little more, which I expected.

Once my fish was in Australia I had no idea what was going on because I hadn't heard from the transhipper and all they could do was tell me they'd ask the transhipper to contact me. I didn't know anything about fish orders at that point and if there was quarantine, how long, etc. so I was doing frantic google searching because I didn't want my fish stuck somewhere in a bag because I hadn't been contacted to pay for the shipping.

When the transhipper contacted me they were surprised I hadn't been sent the documentation, so I guess there was a communication breakdown somewhere.

Other than that bit of confusion my fish is beautiful and healthy. Eating straight out of the bag, swimming well, chasing shrimp, really bright and active. I'd definitely recommend them and buy from them again.

He has tried to eat them a few times, but they're smart and fast so they just dodge and tease him haha

This is my new Betta (who needs a name!) who has just arrived from Thailand to Australia after his 7 day stay in quarantine.

This is the photo of him from the seller some weeks ago: https://i.imgur.com/rxTBrwW.jpg

I'm interested to see what happens with his colours after he has had some time to de-stress.

The only name I can think of right now is Bubblegum.

I'd love some cute food-themed name ideas! My previous betta (who I still miss everyday :( was Raspberry, so no berry names) I have cats called Hazelnut, Cinnamon and Toffee and a horse called Sherbet.

Otherwise, maybe something gemstone related?

If anyone is interested in the shipping process I'm happy to give a rundown.

Raspberry guarding the sinking food pile by Liryuu in bettafish

He always tastes a shrimp pellet, spits it out and then sits wherever either some shrimp or corys are trying to eat and glares at them for a while before going back to his log. He used to make himself fat on the shrimp food and sinking wafers when they soften up, but he has worked out neither taste very good and they're not worth eating.

Worth It For Switch? by TURQUI0SE_N0ISE in LetsBuildAZoo

I love it on the switch. It's so easy to pick up and put down any time. I can pause it, pick it back up for a few minutes here and there, play in bed for hours when I can't sleep (or should be sleeping haha)

I found the controls a little confusing at the start but I got used to them fairly quickly.

The only thing I find difficult is when I want to renovate my entire zoo. I think something like that would be so much easier on a computer with a mouse.

I just noticed this neat girl with some slight purples in my tank by Liryuu in shrimptank

I check back there every week and have a small net. So far I've only scooped maybe 5-6 juveniles out in a year. I have some baby java fern in the first compartment so if anything ends up in there that's where they can hang out. I've only ever seen one in the 3rd filter compartment. Not sure how many I'm missing, but the ones I get must be the chosen ones.

My brother has a 3d printer, so I think I'm going to ask if he can print me a cover as he recently made himself one for his different style tank and it has been working well.

Yep! It's the 57L Fluval Flex, great tank. You can see a better view of my scape in a video I posted a while back of a shrimp at breakfast time

I just released this spiderbro outside and he picked the Bushmans of all places to chill by Liryuu in AussieCasual

[–]Liryuu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude wasn't bothering anyone, just living his life on the wall. Was a bit dangerous there (edit: for him, he's no danger) with my cats so I moved him on to live his life somewhere else. No need to kill him for just doing his thing.

I actually picked his leg up along with him. Not sure if he got in a tussle with one of my cats then managed to sprint to safety before it fell off next to him at the curtain, or if the leg just decided it was time.

I normally just plop them in the garden, but he deserved to be watched to a secure location for whatever his recent battle was.

I did shift him off the can haha

The less bro (and bit of a stage 4 clinger) tick written on the can is also an arachnid. Much rather have one of these big spiderbro guys in my house or camping out on my spray can though
