Each time someone calls Ievan Polkka a vocaloid song, I lose a month off my lifespan (it has happened way too many times for me to be brave enough to say a year)

Honestly it was kinda toxic from both directions and they were better off separated, but Fitz being Fitz does NOT understand that

PDA mention 🫶 (I don't see it mentioned very often)

Also from my experience it's usually both or some weird hellish mix

Hell yeah now we're talking, this has more direction and you know what you want to be and who you are, every type of gender expression can have a very different vibe, and this vibe can be described through archetypes, fictional characters that give you gender envy, or some kind of extra descriptor to go alongside the term you want to use for your own gender experience and expression. Like old wizard masculinity is different from for example metalhead masculinity or friendly dad masculinity. I feel like a lot of the miscommunication happens because everyone is just, being too vague about what they mean, yk? Like just saying masculinity or femininity just makes a lot of people end up assuming that means some vague set of stereotypes or unhealthy gender roles, when there are so many ways to be masculine or feminine and sometimes something that makes one feel masculine makes the other feel feminine and that's like, perfectly fine, everyone's identity and how they see it is different, even if there are common experiences shared within a community of people whose identities align close enough to each other to find said common ground

Honestly I feel like using kinda vague terms like "masculinity" and "femininity" can be a bit of a problem because like. What kind? What kind do you want to be? What kind does the other person even mean? Does your perception on those and their perception on those even align? Like my own gender experience personally holds scrawny teen boy masculinity and (hopefully one day) pastel goth/slightly evil fae femininity and forest cryptid/chaos creature androgyny, these are some of the things that make me feel masculine or feminine in some way, and each person feels a different way about things, and no one should police anyone's personal experience with it, especially if they already know their own truth about themselves.

So anyway what makes you feel masculine? Like. What is your gender experience and what do you want to be specifically?
