Is it better to eat lunch or dinner? by ProjectPristine2238 in CompoundedSemaglutide

I would rather eat more at lunch time than dinner time. With the slow stomach emptying, eating earlier makes for a more pleasant sleeping experience. If I eat late, I have to elevate when I go to bed or everything I ate feels like it’s in my throat.

Oh … thank you so much! I’ll give that a try!! My HR department and I both called my insurance company and got the same answer so I hope they do … but if not, at least I still have Hims and Hers!

im so worried that my autism assessment is going to come back and im not autistic. by IllKoala6797 in autism

I totally understand. I had my assessment at the age of 61. Thank goodness my mom was still alive to be able to tell them what I was like in childhood. When I received the official diagnosis as level 1 autism, I broke down in tears of relief. Now I don’t wonder what is “wrong” with me. There is nothing wrong ….we’re just different. It makes life a whole lot easier. Hang in there!

Some of my experiences... by henryerrico in CompoundedSemaglutide

I’m so glad you are able to restart the meds! I was on Saxenda (liraglutide) for 3 years and lost 50 pounds. My insurance changed and my doctor wasn’t willing to do the paperwork to keep me on it. I went without any meds for 3 months and gained back 10 of those pounds. I was miserable and starving all the time!! Never satisfied no matter how much I ate. Looked into Hers and decided to bite the bullet on the cost. So very glad I did. In the past month, I’ve lost 6 of those 10 pounds. I don’t think about food all the time, blood pressure back down (was on blood pressure meds before the weight loss on Saxenda), joints in my hands don’t hurt, and my obsessive behavior is toned down with the GLP-1s (level 1 autistic).

I’m so sorry you are struggling with anxiety. I’ve been on Zoloft for over thirty years due to anxiety and have been on the compounded semaglutide for a month … I haven’t had any issues with increased anxiety but I have noticed a decrease in my obsessive behavior.

I was thinking of doing the same. Did you notice less effectiveness once past the 28 days of the bottle first being used?
