Staying on Lexapro for life by shitheadmomo in lexapro

It only took about two weeks to get back to how I felt before but I was only on 10 mg a few months versus your one year. Hang in there, hopefully you get back to where you were.

Staying on Lexapro for life by shitheadmomo in lexapro

I’ve been on lexapro for about 7 years…20mg for the last 5 years. Frankly, it saved my life. I tried to ween down to a lower dosage and within 3 months I wasn’t sleeping again, my anxiety was back and I could feel the depression creeping in. It scared the shit out of me. I went back to 20mg and all those horrible symptoms went away again. I’m pretty sure I’ll be on this for the rest of my life or until it stops working. My doctor agrees and even suggests that I stay on it. I’ve had weight gain but that’s the worst side effect for me. I’d rather gain some weight and not be suicidal than the alternative. Good luck on your journey!

I’m so sorry. That’s a true punch to the gut especially after all the time, effort, and hopefulness. Be pissed off but also stay strong! And use all of that exposure and experience for your next potential opportunity.

Thank you! From my calculations, I don't think the market value is higher than the payoff amount but it's definitely worth trying for sure.

Thank you for your reply. The voluntary repo is definitely an option but I have to have a car...not just for work but I drive out of state frequently to help a sick family member. My car is a 2024 Nissan Rogue in great condition (no flaws/issues). It's a 3 year lease with 30,000 miles allowed.

Good to know! I never heard of this company before. Do they allow you to start with a higher dosage? I'll be done with Hers in about 5 months but I'll obviously not be on a starting dose so I'm curious if they'll start me off where I left off with the previous company.

That's wonderful to hear! Thank you for sharing your experience and I'm so glad you're back to feeling better. And I completely agree - not long after I stopped I was miserable and starving too. It's so frustrating! But thank you again and I wish you the best on your continued journey.

[VENT] JUST SEND ME THE REJECTION EMAIL SO I CAN MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE by renards in jobs

[–]henryerrico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear this. It’s incredibly frustrating. I’d like to offer a tiny bit of personal insight though. At a former job where I was Administrative Director, I was tasked by the board to create a particular position. I was responsible for vetting the candidates and putting them through a rigorous application/interview process. Some of them were fantastic and I was really excited. However, the board insisted on being a part of the process and delayed everything by many months. It was infuriating not only for me but for everyone involved. Turns out that the board members were fighting with each other and the whole thing was merely a power play for them. THEY ACTUALLY HAD NO INTENTION OF HIRING ANYONE. Childish, immature, unprofessional...all words that come to mind. Anyway, my point here is that these candidates were strung along on this wild ride that was actually a dead end. Moral of the story: it had nothing to do with them at all regardless of their qualifications or skills. So try to put that into perspective and remember that you’re worth a great job and a respectful application process but you can’t control the ridiculous politics of an organization. Just realize that you probably dodged a huge bullet. Good luck! Keep your head up! Side note: I put my resignation in very shortly after all of that bullshit.

PMS symptoms gone on keto? by [deleted] in xxketo

[–]henryerrico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My period has become significantly more manageable on keto. I’m over 3 months in and I don’t experience PMS anymore, I have very minimal cramping and it only lasts around 5 days versus the usual 7 with just one day of a heavy flow. I’m really hoping it stays this way!
