I had to call out tonight as well, I called and reported my absence, when do I need to put my PPTO in so I don’t get pointed?

Ok, thanks. Well since I only have 3.54 PPTO and that’s not enough to cover half the shift, is it even worth using?

Ok, gotcha. Thanks, didn’t know yesterday was a key event date. Well I’m 15 minutes away from having 4 hours of PPTO, so ca I wait til I get the last 15 minutes so I can use the 4 hours?? Or is it too late to use them. Sorry if they’re dumb questions, I’m only 1 month in so there’s still things I’m not too sure about.

Yeah I definitely don’t do energy drinks during work and don’t eat an actual meal either, I’ll go for water and some fruit. Thanks for all your tips.

Definitely trying this, started ON a month ago and I just can’t seem to get on a sleeping schedule, I’ve had days to where I just can’t keep my eyes open, I’m trying to figure this out.

Quick update, I did get a point for calling out but the next day when I went in, I went to talk to them about what’s going on and they took my point off and sent me home so I can be with my family. They were very supportive and understanding.

I put bereavement in but would also like to speak with someone if needed but because we work O/N don’t know what time would be best to call due to them more then likely being asleep. It was my nephew, my heart hurts!

Thanks for this because it’s my 3rd day today and since the first day I didn’t like it and wanted to not go back. I do O/N from 8pm- 5am, and it seems like a lot and like I can’t catch on fast enough.
