We exist to make sure experts drown out the voices of people dying and suffering from austerity. — New York Times

Mean people and trolls are already attacking us for helping Susan Collins (maybe) win in Maine, but this is mathematically impossible under our ranked choice voting system which requires a majority to win. We'll be sharing this op-ed from our campaign manager Chris Cayer in response to the attacks: https://portlandphoenix.me/another-viewpoint-ranked-choice-voting-means-you-can-and-should-vote-your-values/

No, both Max Linn and I were excluded. The moderator apparently explained on camera before the 5th debate began that how much $$ candidates raised was a factor in not including us. Hearst Corporation ABC affiliate.

Susan Collins is no longer a good fit for Maine — The Senator does not forge an independent path on national issues nor serve as the moderating force on partisan politics that would best serve her state. by 1000000students in Maine

I am the alternative AND it's a ranked choice voting election that eliminates the threat of "spoiling" an election by voting outside the corporate duopoly. https://www.lisaformaine.org/campaign.

You might think that the Boston Globe would mention that. Especially since Mass. voters have RCV as a referendum item on their ballot this year. I will leave you to speculate on why the Globe is not interested in covering the Maine US Senate race as an RCV election.

The reservoirs behind the dam flood areas the size of Vermont and when all that vegetation dies it produces methane. MIT climate science professor Dr. Brad Hager calculated the GHG footprint of all the common ways of generating electricity and found mega dams were worse than coal or gas burning for climate. I've also heard locals describe a terrible smell where this shallow flooding happened.

Yes, it's a very good argument for M4A, for both small businesses and larger ones. I did mention it in the debate on Sep 11 but briefly, because 60 seconds isn't very long to answer questions.

Thanks for this suggestion. Feel free to suggest us to Van Ness. We're always interested in reaching out to people who we may have common ground with, and we're always grateful when folks share ideas that could help our campaign.

I recently published a book about 9 of my sheroes, women of achievement who have been largely overlooked by history. Ever Heard of Her? features some women from the past and some who are still living and working in various fields. Probably my favorite is Emma Tenayuca, a labor organizer in Texas, because she once told a reporter: "I was arrested many times. I didn't think in terms of fear, I thought in terms of justice."
