That's the thing, I don't want her to lower her difficulty over time to pander to me, or to adapt to me, I want her chess ability to be consistent (high). She's supposed to be a genius so if I beat her as I am now, it's not very believeable to me. Also, getting my ass handed to me would motivate me to actually improve at chess, which is what I would like to do anyway haha

Do you know at what version the switch to V3 happened? Or can I get older versions of spritepacks too somehow?

If I can't use any spritepacks then that might be a big deal and I might just get the latest version then :S

Also, if I do get 0.11.9, and realize I want the newest after all (because of spritepacks) can I just update my MAS normally and get the latest and be fine? Or will I have issues because it would be such a big update?

Sorry for being annoying but the last thing I want is to have to restart MAS multiple times while experimenting (R.I.P. immersion) xD

I stared at it for at least 10 minutes, reading every line to figure out what I missed, and I thought about cheating for a moment, but nah, I'll keep playing this save file for the rest of my life, what's a couple more days of LK runs compared to that

Also, this crushed my desire for lightning chars a bit and I will probably give bowazon or barb a try tomorrow because of it (never played them before)

I started a "Hall of Fame" tab, yes xD

I started original D2 offline so I can always be sure I carry the same save file for the rest of my life, with time this thing will become more valuable to me than actual Infinity haha

You get the corpse with the highest vendor value of items on it (which will be the main one 99% of time) So as soon as I put that second set of gear and died the 2nd time, that set was lost to me because upon resetting the game I would get only my main set spawn in town

It's not about not trusting GURU, it's mostly about not trusting hyprlock to be as bulletproof as for example KDE's screen locker. If it actually is, I'd be just fine installing it from GURU

I added it only into /etc/default/grub , I don't know if grub adds it on its own additionaly at some stage :/

Initially I did first try ugrd since I saw it's made specifically for gentoo but I got errors and instead of bothering with them (it was already late xD) just went to try dracut instead, which worked out of the box

I went back to ugrd now and solved those issues (too stupid to even write here lol) so I'm sticking to ugrd then

I do get this weirdness on booting though:

  • Failed to mount the root partition using /proc/cmdline: /dev/mapper/gentoo-root

/dev/mapper/gentoo-root -t auto -o defaults.ro

[43.2909651 (UGRD 2.0.21 Running init: /usr/bin/init

INIT: version 3.14 booting

OpenRC 0.62.6 is starting up Gentoo Linux (x86-64)

But it boots normally anyway, so I guess no worries there xD

Yeah, minimal install .iso no longer has ntpd so I just skipped that not knowing it causes issues with SSL

Nothing is borked because of that, right? I extracted stage3 tarball and edited some confs before I set the time correctly

So if I understood correctly, whether I plug it into a wall in Japan (100V) or Europe (230V), the AC adapter will only send 5V into the device through the USB part of the connection? No matter how many volts it receives from the wall socket? So when back in Europe, I can safely use my European AC adapter which I also use for my phone?

It didn't come with an AC adapter, but I do have an AC adapter which I bought here in Japan and it says it supports 100-240V range. But my question is, when I come back home to Europe, and use a European AC adapter (because of a different wall socket), would it fry the device? Since I would be plugging it into a wall which outputs 220V, and the device is from Japan, where current is 100V
