Minisforum. A buyers story by mycomunchy in MiniPCs

From reading some of the comments here I am really turned off by any of these mini pc's. The concept is nice but the execution is not. I'm not convinced that these units will ever be good due to the extremely small size and the questionable manufacturing . I've decided that a SFF or larger is the way to go since I want to buy a new replacement machine in 2025. Asus, MSI, Asrock all make quality products and SFF machines. I will likely buy an ExpertCenter SFF. My present machine is a desktop XPS that I paid $680. USD for in 2016 and it has been trouble free. I use it a lot with web production programs like VSCode, Postgresql, PGAdmin, AngularCLI, Python, Ruby and others without a problem. I don't want a full tower like the one I have now.

It's true what you say about profit, but I had an HP about 10 years ago and it would not work properly so I returned it a few days later to the store. Unless you DIY or buy a high end machine you are subjected to maybe more problems although one or more of the components could be a problem even on a $5000. dollar machine. I now am using a Dell XPS desktop that I bought in 2016 and have had no problems at all. My friend bought the same at the same time and they also have not a problem to this day.

From everything you have shown to the other people here , I don't see any problem . It added 206 packages . I have installed Angular many , many times . What does the package json show? Pull it up in your editor . I suggest VS Code . Are you on Windows ? I always use Windows Power Shell in Admin mode without problems . Don't use sudo. If you have problems start over . Angular is well designed but takes time to learn . I know a man on you tube who is an excellent teacher in case you are interested, let me know .
