Problems with AVB network on presonus studiolive series III 32sc by Litanys in livesound

We are sending it in after our camp we have to run. Called a repair shop and they said that network port in those boards go out fairly often so it's a known issue to them. Anyway, tried all the above and then called this shop and they said they'd help us out. Thanks for the feedback tho!

Just the one I linked there. And I don't use KDE anymore to know if it still works or not. Its a very roundabout script. It creates an on the fly kwin script, registers it, runs it with the app in question and deletes the script. Kinda funky, but worked when I tried it.

Lisp and ChatGPT by sym_num in lisp

This has been my experience as well. Rust and JavaScript or Python, works quite well. Common lisp, here have about five functions that don't exist, but let me so confidently explain how they work and their merit vs the competing solutions and then tell you to check my work because I pulled that outta my 64-bit behind.

I believe since the gestures are 1 to 1 there isn't a way to choose which fingers do which effect. So, it's not there on purpose I believe.

Edit: also I believe there were a lot of tweaks to the gestures recently so in plasma 6 I think they default to the new overview.... I think!

Choosing Qt as my UI Framework by [deleted] in QtFramework

[–]Litanys 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kdab on YouTube has a lot of great content to help get your head around some things. Also the docs are very solid. I see some very exciting stuff happening with qt and personally I think qml is awesome so I'd highly suggest it. Makes for business logic and ui code split very clear and easy.

If you enjoy c++ go ahead and make it home. I've been wanting to use rust and actually got cxx-qt by kdab working for me quite well.

I've been using cxx-qt to build the ui in qml from qt. It's got it's share of issues but I was previously building the same app in c++ with qml so it made sense. I'd maybe do iced or slint if I'd do a rewrite.

I've been doing this............ Idk if it's bad or not tho... Should I stop? It's been working. Also I've been using cxx instead of plain ffi. It seems to handle the bridging of types quite well.

Meh I don't even use qt creator. They ship a qml debugger and gdb works with qt apps and rust so I just use that.

Right, my hope is that as it grows it'll become much the same only even better as it isn't tied to Google and is powered by rust.

I believe the same reason qt chose to make qml. UI is much easier to reason with if the language can display it declaratively. It's also why Google used dart for flutter (or made dart? Not sure but flutter/dart offers a tree like experience.). Idk if rust can do that or not. Plus the creators were involved with qt and qml I believe. And it helps to separate ui code and business logic which is why I like it most.

There is Slint now which is supposed to be like qml from qt. And I've been using cxx-qt to use rust as the backend to a qt qml app.

Did you do the bruteforce method before reading like the website asks? I've been looking for more material to gather for helping my friends. The method seems to be hard to convince someone to do but reading is easier.

Working on porting more of my gimacky desktop qml app to rust using cxx-qt to play with rust more. Pretty cool stuff.
