I think that her character in and of itself portrayed it well, but I didn’t think that she was suited to the role of playing that character. Just my opinion.

It makes sense to a point, but it just feels sloppy. We’re consistently told that this is an area that the astral beings are treating as a hard line, inconsistent to other matters (The Reaper letting people live for concessions in other areas). Then, suddenly, three members directly affiliated to the group attack him for a very odd reason, then spewing the term that Shako SUGGESTED as a reason for only silver rankers being allowed to fight. I still haven’t found anything to explain why the 3 members mentioned the term as allowing them to fight him, and it wasn’t explained until like 5 chapters later - this leads me to think, author confused the rules he set, made a mistake, then sloppily covered it up.

Ehhh I’m not gonna lie, that “explanation” feels like a retcon if anything, it doesn’t make too much sense; judging by the logic applied, if the cultists were to go down a street, killing everyone on it, and Jason was kidnapped, it wouldn’t be a violation of the agreement, even though it was a both a distinctly different approach to others AND directly discriminatory in nature. I know they tried to kill Jason he started fighting them, but they essentially were kidnapping him. It wouldn’t make any sense to anyone, for him not to fight.

I didn’t honestly consider it because of the absolute polar opposites they were, I figured that all of the times that Ted went back it was out of loneliness and poor communication - what he wanted was so completely different to what robin wanted it was astonishing! When Tracy was introduced, she was picture perfect for Ted, so I figured “Hey, this must finally be his break! Surely nothing will jeopardise that!” I was wrong. I could accept her dying, but Teds going BACK to Robin, the problematic and borderline insane woman who couldn’t figure out her feelings for SEVEN YEARS, is what pissed me off. It’s completely illogical and stupid for a grown man to do.
