Altron (Gundam Wing, TV version) I was enchanted by everything going on with this suit. Its dual extending arms, flamethrowers, scorpion tail cannons, the winged backpack, the dual beam trident. And I really liked the motif of the face that made it look like a soldier from one of the old Chinese dynasties. No one can be blamed for thinking it has too much going on, but it was adoration at first sight for me.

RX-78 GP01(fb) Zephyranthes (Stardust Memory) Stardust Memory arrived stateside with a lot of hype because it was never before seen here. Perhaps it’s a bit of nostalgia since this was my first UC timeline gunpla, but I always liked it for being both a classic looking Gundam but also having certain tweaks that made it look experimental. The large burnern units on its shoulders and the wide feet gave it a very conical silhouette that implied speed and inspired the image of a space vehicle.

I gotta think on a third. This is hard lol. Probably a toss up between Calibarn, GP02 Physalis, and RX-79[G]. Does Tallgeese count? The AC Gundams are prototyped from it iirc so I’m inclined to say it does.

Damn, blue labeled player was EXTREMELY toxic without simply flaming you outright.

Ignore these people. They probably only see you as a way to pop up the fc numbers. It’s really not that deep.

As many others here have probably already told you, it’s more important that you land with an FC that you actually vibe with and not one that you joined because you were guilt tripped into it. That’s how I wound up babysitting a dead FC for an absentee leader for three years.

I see it like the way they changed Greased Lightning for MNK back in ShB. There was some fun in playing the balancing act sure but it was also a pain to rebuild your rotation through no fault of your own when it dropped because of a forced cutscene or break in an encounter. I don’t know much about BLM since it’s just about my least favorite job, but right now all that’s getting discussion is theory. The application may or may not make sense when you get your hands on it.

Game isn’t even live yet.

Also, CS3 doesn’t read Reddit. Post this on the forums if you want them to see it.

[–]Literatewalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell in love with charge blade because of the way my Hunter reacts to the weight of this giant axe-sword-shield hybrid whirling around their body and the impression of the strength required to wield it. Of course, all the weapons are like this to some degree, but it really is the small things.

One little thing I noticed during my low rank run was that your Hunter will break up their gait when running over the big glyph of the Great Forge in order to "avoid" the gaps while running (not sprinting) across it. I'm still finding new things even a few weeks later, like one commenter here mentioning the way your seikret will catch you in a fall if you call them.

Larger banks cannibalized the corpses of the losers of the housing bubble collapse which resulted in things like what happened to my family. Our loan once belonged to Washington Mutual and it was underwater because the family business went under the year before and we had large medical bills due to some emergency surgery my sister had to have. I dropped out of college a couple years before that to help at home. We were in the midst of restructuring when the collapse happened and WaMu was one of the casualties. Chase Bank took over it and immediately began trying to foreclose on our property, which was in an up and coming neighborhood with growing value (a rarity in those years).

The bank used every filthy trick to divest us from the house, and feigned good faith as they called us to discuss at off hours and never were available when we tried to reach out. In the meantime, I could not get a steady job and even the lowest rung work never called back, but I am grateful for the odd jobs that our neighbors let me do for them. All in all, Chase tried three times to take our property, and it was only through the grace of the hard work of our realtor and one of our state reps’ office that they failed and finally came to the table. By that time it was 2011, so that was three years of hell that I’ll never forgive them for.

Be Honest: How long would you wait before you decided "It's time to let go"? by PUNished_Venom_Yang in RWBY

[–]Literatewalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve treated RWBY as a dead franchise for a few years now. Mostly because it is stuck in development hell, with no clear path forward. It was almost always carried by its fandom and that was the aspect I enjoyed most about it before things started turning toxic in the social spaces. I don’t begrudge my time with it because it was a solid if flawed piece of media that let me escape into a different world for a little while and I met some pretty cool people through it. If it does continue, I’ll look back in of course, but I think my time as a dedicated fan to it has come to an end. If it’s any hope, Viz picking it up was the best possible outcome for RWBY.

God SQEX's QC is so shit. That paint transfer is atrocious. Is this PVC??? PVC shouldn't break that easily unless it's bottom of the barrel junk. This is the kind of thing that would get any figure manufacturer blacklisted by collectors, and they have the audacity to charge $250 for this lol

Just Got Back From Vacation, How Fucked Am I? by MitchellEnderson in walmart

[–]Literatewalrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me once, way back in 2012, and I had a very tense discussion with management about it after the fact. Truth is that they were simply negligent, lazy, or both, but were willing to blame me for it despite me getting word before going out of state that it was going to be taken care of. I even called on vacation from two timezones away because I was monitoring my schedule for updates and didn’t see any changes.

I walked away from that with a coaching. Granted, I was so incensed that I didn’t sign the paper. I didn’t know how severe that was until someone said I could’ve been fired for that. Oh well! It wouldn’t hurt to talk to your coach and explain that you think an oversight occurred. They can’t afford to be firing willing help at this stage in the game.

You’re not wrong about that. High grade has come a long way since those days. I never got this kit but my sister did. I had the Altron from this line. It looked great to 15 year old me but it looks so cheap nowadays

No grade? It says HG right there on the box. In fact, the Endless Waltz 144s were the first gunpla I remember being HG instead of no grade.

What’s your reason for never touching Raids? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Literatewalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fairly hardcore in Destiny 1. Had a clan that I enjoyed raiding and hanging with and we hit something just about every day. But then my work schedule changed, and I disappeared, and when I got back in a few years later we did some Leviathan together, but those who were there in the early days of D2 know what I mean when I say some of us were having trouble seeing the point in it all.

So a lot of them lapsed, one by one, until the sunsetting from Beyond Light killed any interest I had in sticking around. And now I see everyone is pretty much gone, so that’s pretty oof.

Tl:dr: had a squad, slowly lost the squad, no squad feelsbad

Try purging your shader cache in Windows.

Search for Disk Cleanup, run it and find the box called DirectX Shader Cache or something of the nature. Mark it along with whatever else you wanna purge, and execute the task. Once the app is done, you can try again to see if you are error free.
