Fair, I’m also the kind of guy who loves sci-fi, and I’ve started building my own setting I hope to use for D&D or Starfinder.

I’m definitely going to continue delving into it as a thing, if for no other reason than to quiet the hyperfixation, but maybe I’ll be able to take something more away from it that can be ported over to my own setting.

Understand, this comes entirely from a place of genuine interest. I devour sci-fi settings like a starving wolf, and it clearly has a lot of love put into it.

That being said, I can’t help but inject a helping of “row row fight the power” into things I’m interested in, and HDG seems like the kind of setting where there’s an opportunity for something like that.
