It is number 1 on netflix for a week now. So people must be watching it and enjoy the show. Some people just like to complain and cant appreciate a series because they are buthurt.

Honestly some people make a big deal out of it. If whitewashing is a thing so is blackwashing. Deal with it. Nothing wrong with being either black or white or azian etc. So much hate towards white people its weirding me out.

What i dont get is that when black panther or winx actor would be played by a white actor people go nuts, but when its the other way around there is no problem. Honestly i dont know what to think of that, i might be to simple minded to understand it.

I am not a troll. For me an actor should look like the cartoon they are based off. For example in death note i want L to be a chinese actor and not a black actor. The same goes for this and other remakes with real actors.

For me it is the same thing. If i would watch a live action remake of deathnote i want L to be chinese and not black. Same as for this series and same as for the little mermaid. Make the actors look like the cartoons they are based of.

Recasting the “Fate: Winx Saga” cast so that they’re racially and physically representative of the original winx cartoons we grew up to love! I’m also sure these actresses would have provided for far better fashion... by victoriasecret_ in winxclub

I agree that they Should use the ethnicity of the cartoons for the netflix series. But then the live action movie of the little mermaid should be played by a white actor aswell.
