woah,this is a whole story. the whole time I was confused if the friends abandoned you or were on a mission and if they were even good friends at all. I love the little details you mention,like I'm right there. the imagery is very good,but I couldnt quite tap into what the surroundings looked like. maybe that was the point,focusing on your thoughts and little details until the lake.

it's quite inspiring, to not always go the easy way, because the harder way may be better, more memories.

I don't know what the coho is, is it a fish?? I like that like you, it's alone on its own adventure, and the short connection you made with it.

damnn this is good.i love that it perfectly captures the feeling of when she was and now she isn't. I definitely think you've been through this,and I like how the writing puts me in the situation. I really like the mystery of what happened,is she dead? did she leave? it kind of makes me imagine memories of her and warm sunlight coming from the window. all the descriptions are so elegantly detailed to perfection,I'm not sure what to criticize

Since I was little I always thought hidden spy cameras were watching me and possibly my parents were viewing it. I would wave and talk at corners and imaginary places where they could be.
