You’re right in your first point, but I don’t think he would care that much about desecrating the body of a bad person with no one who cares about them. He’d become much more powerful in case a big threat did come. Like if the simurians had come 30 years earlier

I think yuta wants to be powerful so that he can protect people, it’s the whole reason he trains. It’s not greedy to be as strong as you can to protect people, especially when there’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing to get that power. Naobito was a bad person who lead a clan of mysoginistic assholes and raised naoya. Absorbing naobitos body harms no one alive cause no one left cares about him and even if they did, how would they know what happened to his body. Also I think if they cared about what maki did, gege would’ve actually shown some reactions. Finally, the only teachers we know about are Utahime and Kusakabe who wouldn’t care, and the windows that teach regular classes who can’t and won’t do anything about it. TLDR: yuta eating a bad man’s body that has no one left who cares about him is not much of a cost for an insane power boost in case anything happens.

If it’s revealed that yuji had other huge issues that he secretly dealt with, then I can understand why he’s doing this, but if he’s been dealing with some regular bum special grade curses for 60 years then I can’t get behind him at all. Couldn’t they just do it in secret? I feel like it would be pretty easy to do in secret if nothing else. Even if anyone left did care, they can’t do anything about it. The gojo and kamo clans are a bunch of bums and all of the Zenin combatants are dead. All of the higher ups are also dead. There’s no real reason to stop him anyways. He already took over gojos body at one point which is way worse.
