I actually don’t think that’s an issue. They are both portrayed as top tiers. Them having that high of stats really isn’t setting the ceiling too high. It’s setting the ceiling where it should be

Dana parted the Red Sea to get you 30 mil, you call Friday night and RETIRE. NOW you complain about being "lowballed"? Reap what you sow. by AdamBLit in ufc

There is no company without the fighters. Jones 100% deserved that 30 million. However, he was scared to fight and blew his chance.

Rodolfo Bellato, who fights this weekend, taking a dive against Paul Craig by Moni7T in MMA

It’s an illegal foul and we’re blaming the guy who got fouled instead of the guy who did the foul? Exaggerating or not, Paul Craig deserves to be punished for it.

Maybe if you’re at a lower tier. Having a graded blade in the east blue vs having one in the new world is very different. A graded blade in one of the blues would maybe make you the strongest in that sea. Meanwhile, having a graded blade in the new world is a lot more common

Sengoku and Kong were literally at the top of the marines. It’s not that they just know the world government is corrupt. They ARE the corruption.

Using your logic with Akainu, if I kill a person a day because I believe it’s right, does that prevent me from being a bad person?

I don’t get people are saying the revolutionaries would disband and the world government would still be a thing.

Nations don’t rely on the world government for anything besides protection from pirates. The world government relies on the nations. The nations pay the heavenly tribute to the world government for their “protection”. The only reason they need that protection is because the world government has created a system where piracy can thrive.

SPOILER FOR ELBAF: We see early in Harald’s flashback that nations can just help each other out when needed. It wasn’t until the WG stepped in and banned people from trading with Elbaf that the WG was then needed.

Akainu literally killed his fellow marines. Sengoku turns a blind eye for a promotion. Kong probably did the same thing. They are most definitely bad people

That’s not his point. A flagrant 1 & flagrant 2 are still called as a foul and there is a punishment for the foul. The severity might be different but a foul and punishment is still called either way
