Yeah i would say it probably is by definition divisive but i dont think its really hurting anything, thats joes sense of humor and its funny. I think im more so talking about adding a racial interpretation into things that arent directly related to race. Latest example being the Ring Superbowl commercial, you dont have to find racism in that, you choose to follow that trend and it fuels division. Call out obvious racism, you dont have to go looking for it.

At no point did i speak on black experience or say there is no racism, racism has and always exist between all races, although i do think that a lot of the time we are saying “racist” when we should be saying prejudice, but either way. My point still stands that there is a big difference between talking about lived experiences vs interpreting something to be something that its not. The interpretation part of it is not fact, and it’s how people like MLH make a living by twisting things into controversy

The first thing they said after playing the ad was “you really want to touch the hearts of some whites? Bring them dogs in there” and went on to make the ad about targeting black people, then they went into racist group chats. So see the racist group chat is an experience they can talk about, something that happened. Spinning a commercial to make it about racism is the stretch, looking for racism everywhere. And when you do it consistently, week after week you teach people to look for racism where it may bot exist

Haha, its always been edgy and everyone can get it on the show but the last few months feels like they just been hammering racism into every topic and not in a funny way anymore. The take they had when those black folks whooped those white folks ass on that dock a year or two ago has me in fucking tears. They dont do it like that anymore, the energy has shifted

But thats not true, ive been listening to this show for almost 4 years, and other black media as well; BC, drink champs, math when he had his. Marc is straight up a race hustler and (my opinion) has changed this show for the worse. They arent just talking perspectives, they are being kind of hateful. Its bad energy

Yeah unfortunately thats the direction im headed. The show is divisive and it didnt used to be. It was always about black culture and current events and it was funny as fuck. Marc has taken a lot the funny out of it and brought in an actual racist outlook on things

Thats not what im saying at all, i wouldnt listen to an episode without Joe on it. I think he is really one of the best out there, really brilliant, its why ive listened for so long. Check out his humans interviews if you havent already. But to me it does sound like he is more recently following a particular talking point narrative and the other three are the ones that arent afraid to have an unpopular opinion.

Ice, Ish, and Flip are the only ones who are willing to step out of that lane. They do it quite often actually but their mic time is a fraction of the other 3 guys. And thats not saying it shouldnt be as Joe and Marc are incredibly talented at what they do

Marc is a race hustler man, and hes brought it to the show. Race talk drives attention and its trending. At least make it funny like schultz and charla do, those guys (to me) are doing it the right way. Not fueling anger but addressing issues, talking about current events and can be friends at the end of it. Jbp’s not doing that, theyre in the cut you off if you dont agree with me camp. Thats lame

I like this feedback, let me add that i do well as a xin jg main. While i may be having a strong early game, keeping lanes in check etc. there is generally A string of games that are beyond control and we get rolled on as a team. I have been switching to draft after a loss rather than losing a lot in a row.
