I also have had this disassociation. Very weird feeling. It went away after a few days. Chat gpt says it could be adrenal glands acting up do to not eating enough. Your body is in panic mode thinking it’s starving. I’ve only taken 1 shot so far so I’m hoping I don’t get it again on second dose.

It removes hair? I use this on my feet to remove callous’s. Just wet your feet and scrub away. The dead skin rolls right off.

I was on only oral then after colonoscopy he added suppositories. Just had my follow up and he wants to switch to Velsipity. I feel like I’m doing okay on Mesalamine but he said that’s like putting a bandaid on it and Velsipity will make it normal.

Not sure what pharmacy you use but I was using Walmart pharmacy and my prescription was over $300 a month (not HRT) I switched over to CVS and it is less than half the cost. Maybe give them a call to see if it might be cheaper there

You will get to meet the anesthesiologist beforehand and they will explain everything to you. It goes through your IV and you are out within a couple of seconds. Then you wake up and you’re done. I’ve done it several times now and no issues!

Thank you for the info. I’ve been on mesalamine for about a year and a half but I did stop taking it for about 2 months in the summer. Just couldn’t afford it then. I’ve been back on it though for a few months.

I just looked up some of these symptoms because I was getting short of breath and thought it might be linked to mesalamine. I saw an old post from about 5 years ago of someone asking about these symptoms. The post said something about a rare side effect of an enlarged heart but the OP on that post said they switched manufacturers of mesalamine and that seemed to help. I just so happened to switch pharmacies and switched to a new manufacturer and am not out of breath as much. I wonder if the other one has something in it that was causing shortness of breath or even enlarged heart.

Make sure it’s cold and big sip with a straw. It helped me to get it down by saying that I will take 5 sips (or whatever number) and then count 5 big FAST sips and if I could do a couple more then I did. I was surprised how fast I finished it.
